good morning I am new to this forum. I am undergoing bloods, x-rays etc to see why I am in constant pain, but my Dr has said Osteoarthritis in my knees and possibly fibromyalgia. I have pain in my knees for approx 8 years and the rest of the pain around 2. There are days/nights where I cry in pain.

New cancer treatment immuno therapy combined with guadecitabine in lung, breast, prostate bowel cancer makes cancer visible to immune sys
A new cancer treatment can stop the disease advancing in patients who are resistant to immunotherapy, doctors have discovered. Immunotherapy uses the immune system to target and kill cancer cells, and can save lives when other treatment options, such as surgery, radiotherapy or chemotherapy, have failed

I would like to know if anyone experienced a sudden onset of fibromyalgia. In June 2021 I caught covid (delta variant) and the virus caused me afib (atrial fibrillation) but i was misdiagnosed for many months due to cardiologists' mistakes. At the end of December 2021 unfortunately i got covid again

PP and Hypnobirthing
Hi I did Hypnobirthing with my first child but I was told that you can not be hypnotised once you've had PP. I was just wondering does anyone know if that includes using Hypnobirthing for a following pregnancy? I am sure breathing and tens will be fine it's just the tapes that you listen to prior

Vagus nerve stimulation
I’ve read of electric stimulators implanted to stimulate the vagus nerve as a number of clinical trials are currently evaluating its effectiveness in the treatment of certain autoimmune dysfunctions. I am currently doing various vagus nerve impact exercises; Wimhoff breathing, ice showers/baths, standing

Tens Machine
hi everyone I have had sciatica for nearly four weeks, excruciating pain in calf and lower back. Cocodamol, osteopath, physio and GP but no relief. I have ordered a tens machine and wondered if anyone else has used one and if it’s ok to use with AbFib. Thanks

Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS)
My partner (45yo) got epilepsy after suffering from encephalitis two years ago. He is on Lacosamide and Topiramate. He still has 3-4 long partial focal seizures a month. VNS has been suggested to us by our neurologist. Has anybody got any pos/neg experience with that? Has it reduced seizures? Has it

Might be helpful
Although only recently confirmed with Fibro, I am a sports health and exercise nutritionist and a seasoned triathlete, I have started now carrying my tens machine massarge balls foam roller and hand roller with me permently so I can try and not rely on meds. This is helping a bit as if i get a flare

shingles vaccination
I thought I posted but something went wrong! I have recurring shingles, had it since age 25. I have it currently. I read the shingles post and see shingrix is best option - I have pmr and on very low dose steroid at 2per day dropping slowly to one per day. (10 per week). I want a private vaccination
