Peak flow app with reminders
Can anyone recommend a peak flow recording app for iPhone that notifies you when it’s time to take a measurement? I’ve been using asthma md but it doesn’t have this feature and I keep forgetting to take my peak flow. Thanks in advance.

Hi, apologies for long post. I’m a 34yo female. I’ve had symptoms that line up with hypothyroid symptoms for years. Had a few tests when my eczema flared up really badly around 12 years ago, which coincides with the time that a lot of the symptoms began. Have had fatigue basically since catching Epstein-Barr

First time posting here with questions
Hello, I was wondering how to tell if you need b12 injections when you take oral b12 and your serum b12 always comes out looking great? I haven't had it tested recently but past tests always come out way over the range. Anyway, I saw a post by @Marz in which she said that she takes b12 due to having

Help with T3
I would really appreciate some advice please. I have included my original post below. So last week I went to see another Endocrinologist, they confirmed what I was told by the first Endocrinologist who I saw earlier that week - basically as my TSH levels are within range, I did not need an increase

Help interpreting iron panel
Hello I am hypothyroid, about 5 years & take just under 100mg levothyroxine daily. I have a high T4 & low T3 and see a private endo who has offered to prescribe T3. I'm generally feeling ok but do struggle with puffy & very sore eyes, dry skin & high cholesterol. I am thinking of trialling the T3.

getting better but anxiety over future
Hi, I was diagnosed with asthma last September after being in hospital for ten days with a bad exacerbation. All out of the blue. I was on oxygen for most of it and coughing up thick green stuff after a chest infection. Could hardly breathe and almost in ICU. After recovering from that I picked up more

Newswire Spring 2023 - my thoughts
I just finally got round to reading this and am left feeling more inspired and positive on the whole. There is still a long way to go and so much to learn about the baffling diseases of PMR and GCA but when I think back to when I was first diagnosed and struggling between 2012 and 2015, there are definite

The TSH and diogenes
I just found this, written by diogenes some time ago, that I saved:
The following papers from the Japanese shows that, in people with no working thyroid, "normal" healthy-type conditions on T4 therapy only occur if TSH is between 0.03-0.5.
Above this, hypo symptoms are still present. You

How does my sister obtain more t3 after endocrinologist wouldn't help.
My sister is having trouble finding more t3 as the place she used to get it no longer has it and endocrinologist would only do another medication which makes her feel terrible which he wouldn't listen to. How else can she obtain t3? I've heard some people getting it privately. How does one go about this

Thinking of Stopping Treatment Due to Continued Weight Gain
Over the last 2+ years Ive gained 50 pounds due to premature Ovarian Failure and Hypothyroidism. I was originally diagnosed with Graves Disease in 2014. My whole medical history is explained in my prior posts. I would retype but my history is super complicated due to rare illness. I have now been on

Hypothyroid & bone/liver bloods
Does being hypo affect your liver and bones blood work? If so, how? (High or low?) I am noticing that when I take thyroid medication it makes some bone/liver bloods abnormal (see below) Is that indicative of being over medicated? When I stop the medication my TSH sky rockets but my other levels normalise

Hello, I’m still quite new to the group. History of hypothyroid 9 years. Less well controlled symptoms last 18+months. If I’m honest I’ve never felt the same since going through huge stress 5 years ago when my husband was having treatment for a serious illness right after I’d just had our second
