Paracetamol

Paracetamol has done little to ease matters. My sports physio neighbour took a look and diagnosed Cuboid Syndrome and told me to give my foot frequent ice baths and roll my foot over a golf ball!

I’ve tried aspirin and paracetamol, but they haven’t helped much. Just wondering whether it is worth contacting specialist or not. I have very limited energy and don’t want to put myself through the hassle of phone calls etc. if there is nothing available.

(like hell)......I have never had raised CRP....so can't see what I can prove either way.....just know this pain and fatigue is is unbearable....paracetamol dosen't help much.

So i rushed to a urologist nearby and he has given some medicines(Etoricoxib Thiocolchicoside and Paracetamol aceclofenac) . After having 3 doses of it he is now felling ok today . Can someone please help from their experience if it is Pain from Bone metastasis or some muscle pain .

Pain is difficult to describe and no amount of drugs are helping so I survive on ibuprofen and paracetamol and amitriptyline at night but only 20mg. Yes I’m still in pain but functioning. I make sure I get a good night sleep do my mindfulness and stop and think what is my body telling me?

The nurse told me that the pains were muscular and I should take paracetamol and try and get an X-ray via the GP. I remember that Ibuprofen should not be taken with Pred (I'm on 7mg now) but wondered if there were any other pain relief drugs which would be stronger.

I have in my possession naproxen, ibuprofen, paracetamol and 2 different strength co codamol. Which should I use? 🤔

I take 8 Paracetamol a day, and Voltarol Max, to have instant help. I have asked my GP if there is anything different to try, the answer was no. Although I am.

They have said it is Costochondritis and to stay warm and take paracetamol:/. It is inflammation of the rib cage I feel so fed up dealing with pain was bad enough now I can’t even walk my dog comfortably the one thing I get enjoyment from. The pain is In the centre of my chest.

Paracetamol does very little. Dihydrocodeine is highly effective, but I limit that as it bungs me up, plus it's addictive.

I am on morphine and pregabalin and of course paracetamol amongst other drugs. I have got to the point now where I feel claustrophobic with the pain. I just cannot escape from it. I wake up in the night having a panic attack with the pain.

Paracetamol isn't touching it, and it's keeping me awake at night. I am wondering if anyone else has had any issues with these meds and these symptoms? No chest pains or aches and pains anywhere else?

Hello, Does anyone know if you can take paracetamol and ibuprofen with Atorvastatin and Clopidogrel? The warnings are scary but I have painful arthritis. Any viewpoints are welcome.

Many years ago, when I found paracetamol was not always sufficient to give me relief from pain, my GP prescribed codeine. To be taken as and when required with a maximum of 4 a day.

Take painkillers ( which I’ve not needed since the steroid) and if so I understand paracetamol not ibuprofen? Thanks for help.

I was told I couldn’t take anything with paracetamol in it, but I asked the team at Guys if I could take my usual cocodamol for my arthritis pain and they said that was fine. Fingers crossed I won’t have anything adverse to add to this. Thank you for support and good wishes. 😁

I've tried Nitol, spraying pillow with Lavender, taking antihistamines that make you drowsy, taking Magnesium ast thing at night, Paracetamol. Not using mobile or internet, milky drinks, taking a shower or bath before bed.

I behaved like anyone else on holiday, swallowed paracetamol and carried on. I felt guilty that hubby kept going out on his own. We had lunch in a cafe and talked to dog owners and other patrons. Walked by the sea. Went for a drive on way back. Normal holiday day out? So what's the problem?
