Solid cystic nodule
Can I ask what a solid cystic nodule is lol it might be obvious but does it basically mean that a nodule is fluid as it is cystic or does it mean it is solid? It's on my ultrasound report and when you google it either says that there are solid nodules or cystic which can be all liquid or part solid part

Hashimotos and pancreas function
Hello, I was wondering if anybody has experienced a link between thyroid and pancreatic function. I have recently been diagnosed with hashimotos via TPO antibodies and a slightly raised TSH (5). Due to fatigue my doctor also ran a nutrient panel and because I was not absorbing most vitamins (I am deficient

Metastatic PC- whose being treated at University of Chicago?
We switched over a year ago and have been pleased. Just curious how many other men have been battling Metaststic PC and are being treated here. When was your dx? Type of pc? Whose your MO? Experience? Do feel confident that they are trying cutting edge treatments?

Oily, sticky and floating stool.
Could CT have missed pancreatic problems? 6 months ago I had CT without contrast followed by limited upper right quadrant ultrasound to get a closer look at my liver. Completely normal other than the fatty liver. I’m still experiencing upper abdominal pressure and back pain. Recently all my stools float

Whittle but too late for chemo
Hi, my partner had stage 3 pancreatic cancer in Feb 2017. He had a Whipple operation but recovery was very very slow, perhaps as he was 76 at the time. He was too frail and missed the window: opportunity for chemo. What is his likely prognosis now?

HELP Very Paranoid about Pancreatic Cancer
Hi, everyone. I’m a 22 year old female. I’m 5’2” and 119lbs. I exercise at least twice a week. I don’t smoke at all and I only drink during special events/occasions. I don’t have any cancer history from both my mom and dad’s side. I’ve been feeling so anxious about my health these past few days. I

Just completed this run with no aches, pains or anything. Really enjoyed it.... Cannot believe how far I've come. I'm going to be lost without this to do every week once I've graduated. However I am going to sign up to the Great Birmingham 10k run for Cystic Fibrosis in April 💪🏽

Carbimazole - Safety Alert in Pregnancy and Pancreatitis
I have just received an email alert regarding Carbimazole. There are TWO separate issues. First, the increased possibility of congenital malformations if taken when pregnant. Second, the possibility of pancreatitis. I urge everyone who takes Carbimazole, or knows someone who takes it, to read the information
