Granny just diagnosed
My granny recently was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and I was on here to see if there was any way she could be cured but I'm not sure if surgery is possible and I am starting to get really worried. She is a tough old lady and I hope she will get through this and scene as I'm only 13 I don't know

Can Methotrexate cause Pancreatitis?
I have RA but also a blood cancer, Leukaemia, called T Cell Lymphoma. I was put on Methotrexate, not for the RA, but because the cancer is killing my white blood cells, and oral chemotherapy (MTX) is a recognised treatment. I was taken ill a few days ago with severe upper abdo pain, I was sure I was

Could ct be wrong?
I had a ct scan for different reasons that confirmed large cysts in both of my overies. But also Dr sent me for MRI for pancreatic lesion. Now waiting for results. Can CT scans give wrong diagnosis?

Pancreatic cancer
My husband Michael was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer late May with a tumour the size of a satsuma. The oncologist only gave him a few weeks if they could not clear the jaundice but eventually a second stent cleared it. Michael was offered to go on chemo and try to shrink the tumour in the hope

My mother in law has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and is currently undergoing chemo - folfirinox. 5th round next week hopefully.
She is suffering from severe pain / burning in the bowel area. Seems to come on after food in particular - no certain foods setting it off as it seems to vary. She says it feels like a lot of trapped wind? Any suggestions / advice on food or way to avoid it as it is becoming more frequent.

Coping with pancreatic cancer
There is such a lot of negative publicity about pancreatic cancer. Just wanted anyone out there who has been diagnosed with this cancer in time to have surgery of my experience. People call the op the dreaded Whipple Procedure and there can be many difficult side effects afterwards. However, i found

I have just read an article that you can smell illness. My partner who had PC kept saying he smelt strange smells has anyone else had this?
If smelling strange bad smells is a symptom of PC then maybe someone needs to do research as a way of knowing when someone has PC as it seems that most doctors still don't connect all the symptoms up when you tell them. My partner, who sadly died 8 weeks after diagnosis had many different symptoms which
