unexplained chest pain and shortness of breath .
had a problem with chest
pain
and breathless ness did all the checks and could find out where it came from. Wondered if this was another by product of rheumatoid arthritis?

Pacemaker Procedure
Two weeks ago I had a Pacemaker fitted, all I had read about the procedure indicated
pain
free, however, I experienced a cold operating theatre, and violent uncontrollable shivering, and
pain
, despite aahhh!

Pain control
The advice was to keep my weight stable, exercise within
pain
limits and to take
pain
relief . I’m managing the back
pain
which is slowly easing but the thigh
pain
can be severe after walking.

Reflexology
I have horrendous
pain
in my feet & ankles. Also wrists & shoulders.
Pain
meds are not really helping so thought I might try reflexology & was wondering if anyone has had any positive results from it? Thank you

Arthritic knee, back and anticoagulants
This supplements his morphine patch as and when necessary for bad
pain
. Morphine helps with nerve and tendon
pain
from his back injury but the arthritic
pain
pushes through. As he will probably be prescribed an anticoagulant, I worry about how he will cope during flareups of arthritis.

Pain...
I'm asking because I have been diagnosed and I am still experiencing
pain
so I'm just curious how many of you guys experience
pain
. This
pain
could possibly be from other digestive issues that I have but
pain
causes me stress so that's why I ask. Thanks

Joint pain classes
Our Nuffield Joint
Pain
class teacher is going to be doing 2 days a week at Barbican Nuffield. Aren't you Londoners lucky? Certainly helped me. No sticks needed now. Still can't get my arms much above horizontal doing Angels up against the wall though.

PMR symptoms and Steroid sensitivity and withdrawal
The worst steroid symptoms eased but I continue to feel more
pain
as I reduce. and stayed on 9 mg for two weeks. The GP recommended that I got down to 8 mg and that the
pain
was just my muscles getting used to being used again.

IBS flare new symptoms
I have a strong stabbing
pain
in the left side of my torso under my rib cage, this
pain
is reflecting in the front but also specially in my back. I am afraid this is not a symptom of IBS and it could be something more serious. has anyone experienced anything similar? thank you :)

stopped Pred but pain & stiffness came in knees. GP says it isn’t PMR
Pain
went away. Have carried on with Pred, assuming PMR still grumbling away. Intend to taper off gradually over next weeks. GP insists it is OA and suggests ibuprofen or paracetamol orally for
pain
. Wants me off steroids sharpish. What do others think? Is knee and hand
pain
usual in PMR?

Is some pain necessary when gradually reducing steroids ?
Then at 5 mg
pain
came back in wrists ( not so severe ) so Dr advised to increase by 1mg. So I am currently on 6 mg a day. I still have
pain
but am working on the assumption I should put up with this so the body can start to replace the pren.

diarrhoea, sickness and stomach pain
This is not something I normally suffer with so wondering if adrenals waking up might cause this? If not then the pate I had on Friday night was the culprit.

Bladder symptoms with Endo
Has anyone suffered with bladder
pain
or symptoms? Do you have any advice on how to ease the
pain
/ symptoms? I'm currently getting bladder instillations but the last 5 months I've suffered chronically with these symptoms and it's totally killing my quality of life :(

implant Surgery Tomorrow
The dental surgeon says to take 10 mg prednisolone in the morning before having the tooth extracted and implant put in. She knows I’m currently on 3-3.5 mg and has PMR long term. She says the extra is to help with the anxiety/stress and that as my body likely isn’t producing cortisol of its own this

. has anyone experienced similar? I’d love to know your experiences.
