Ive found out recently for sure that my so called fibromyalgia was a lack of estrogen caused first by the menopause, giving me many debiliating symptoms, and then when I had a hysterectomy it suddenly got far far worse, dangerously so. DBS Surgery #2, a personal essay
DBS Surgery #2 by Gary Turchin On Nov 12, 2020, a good eight months into the pandemic, I found myself checking in to Kaiser Hospital, Redwood City, for brain surgery. I arrived at the hospital in terrible pain. I had stopped taking my medications for Parkinson

Good-bye and thank you all
I have not been on here every week. Sometimes not for several weeks. But then when meds get changed and the cancer changes, I would come back on. Many of the ladies on here were helpful and gracious. They understood things that my friends could not even comprehend bc they were not the ones battling

ļ»ægot covid bad,do I stop arthritis meds.
ļ»æhi, been 3 days since tested positive on lateral flow. I'm currently on benepali and strong pain killers though the illness is bizarrely making it less painful to move. This version is supposed to be just a cold but I feel alot worse. Does anyone know about biologics. Should I stop?

management of pain meds and itching.
Hi, my doctor has me on oxycodone but I have noticed for me to get the pain med dose to a therapeutic one, the oxycodone causes unbelievable itching not relieved by meds. How do you on pain meds get the dose up high enough and avoid itching over entire body?

TENS Machines and AF
Hi, I recently posted about painkillers (for Femoral Nerve pain in my case) and the myriad potential side effects including heart rhythm problems, which put me off taking any painkillers at all. At an appointment with a physiotherapist today I asked if a home TENS Machine could be used to alleviate

How long does it take to get pain relief once on medication?
Reaching out for advice. I had a MINOCA first week of September. Since discharge from hospital I have still experienced fluctuating chest, arm and rib pain, breathlessness with light exertion and severe head pressure. First trip to hospital resulted in prescription for diltiazem hydrochloride.
