No help with Pain?
Itching is the smallest degree of pain. Doctors (and the public) have become so afraid of pain medication! It’s heartless, and shameful, not to mention non-empathetic, for a doctor to fail to give a patient who is suffering as your mother is, no help from her pain! Pain medications are NOT just for

Greetings everyone. This is Jim's third son, Chris, again. I am writing because Dad is in no longer in any condition to comprehensively express his experience. We have seen significant physical decline this week, to say the least. Further, his windows of lucidity are becoming shorter and sparser

Toe cramping and leg pain in Parkinson’s
My WWP experiences intense pain and discomfort that she finds difficult to describe in her legs, several times every day. Mostly accompanied by cramping, both upwards and downwards, of toes, which makes walking very difficult and sometimes impossible. She had DBS surgery 16 months ago, but this has not

Unusual
VERY unusual!! I slept all night - no pain, no loo visits. Now 10am and am still pain free. Pick up pill box to realise I hadn't taken my pred OR pain killers last night. ????? Was this an "almost" New Year's gift? Has this happened to anyone else?

Bit of a setback after last chemo
Re hydration drip,

and anti sickness drip and stayed in overnight. MRI scan on the Wednesday morning first thing to check for brain mets or other abnormality. Nothing untoward found - brain seems to be present and correct! Upshot is I was told that I had been "Super dehydrated".

Hi ladies :)I posted here once before and got some very useful and helpful replies, so thank you all! So ... I'm still on the waiting list for an ultrasound, though I'm unsure how much that will show and if it will confirm my suspicions that this endo. My question is the longevity of this pain. It's

Endo surgery list!
Hello everyone! Hope you are all keeping well! So I finally have a laprascopy surgery date for the 7th of January for diagnosis of endo! I’m currently self isolating due to high rise of covid in my area. I don’t want to risk catching it and not able to have my surgery. During my time I’ve made a list

Just been diagnosed - Endometriosis
Hi all - new here & first post.. Just went for an internal scan at the hospital after 'normal' blood test results. Nurse said she's pretty much certain I have endometriosis & would write to my doctor. I asked about what happens next & she said I'd need to push my doctor for anything and mentioned they're

MBC Baggage
Excited off to Gretna Green in Scotland tomorrow to take our renewal of wedding vows before Christmas. We had to laugh at our baggage and oh how it has changed since our honeymoon baggage there many moons ago. My suitcase now exists of Ibrance, Adcal and painkillers if needed, hopefully not. Pleurisy. How long to cycle NSAID?
Hello and good morning or good evening depending on where you are in the world. So, here it goes, first time forum user here. And what has brought me here, well, desperation really. I have been experiencing symptoms of pleurisy for the last 2 weeks, which I have been treating with NSAID's and Paracetamol
