Does anyone take pantoprazole with MtX?
During this weekend I have had a bad pain in my esophagus. I get that from time to time, probably due reflux caused by the prednisolone and PMR, as it is worse during a flare. I usually take pantoprazole a couple of days and it heals up fast (doctor's prescription). However - now I am on MtX since

Anyone with similar symptoms to help with lap decision?
I came off the pill after 14 years and have had a few months of heavy periods, crippling stomach and lower back pain in first 24-48 hours of my period, with IBS like symptoms in the same time period. When I was in my early teens up until going on the pill, I had the same including nausea and feeling

Hay fever medicines
I continue to have badly blocked ears and a runny nose for several weeks. I’ve only managed to see paramedics rather than a GP about it. I haven’t used any nasal sprays (other than saline) but would like to try anti-allergy medication such as antihistamine. Yet I’ve read that “A few common stimulating

Flare up or just Fatigue?
I have tapered to 7.5 mg this month using Dorset Lady's table, but in the last few days I have pains around the hips which is only relieved by sitting down. I wake up around 4.30 a.m. and so have several spells of faitigue/deep sleeps in the early evening. When I am out I lean against counters

Tylenol 3 with Codeine…I need a substitute…Help
I’m stage 3b and maintaining. I just had foot surgery this morning. My orthopedic surgeon consulted with my nephrologist and decided Tylenol 3 with Codeine would be best to start . If that didn’t work I could take low dose Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 10-325mg. The Tylenol 3 is making me vomit, but

Dry eye medication
For several years since eye surgery I have been prescribed eye lubricants. The prescriptions always say Thealoz Duo Gel yet I have always been given the Thealoz Duo UD even when I questioned this several times. Recently I was given the Gel form and nothing else. Of course this is excellent at night

ThyroidDisease and Cataracts
Has anyone had any experience with developing cataracts and is there a potential link to thyroid disease? My ophthalmologist has told me my thyroid eye disease makes me a poor surgical candidate.and getting a second opinion is pretty much out of the question. I am 61 and an active sewer and the prospect

Early signs of ovarian torsion?
Hi all, I’ve had a large endometrioma (around 11cm) for about a year now and am on the waiting list for surgery. On my period now and was in a lot of pain, which is common for my periods. But the pain has felt different - rather than feeling it all over my abdomen, I’ve just felt it in my lower right

Something I forgot to mention
I wrote about Toprol (Metoprol) a few minutes ago. I forgot to mention that I also take Flecainide, 100 mg. twice a day.

Oar Gel and gold placements for beginners on this journey
I am a beginner on this PC journey but feel fortunate that I caught my cancer before it had spread beyond the prostate. I caught sepsis from my directed transrectal biopsy and spent a lovely few days in ICU flirting with the nurses and trying not to mess up the bed and floor too much. I have 9 weeks

Trabeculectomy at 18
Hi I had a Trabeculectomy back in July and sadly my vision has never been the same. The first few weeks my surgeon was surprised because everything went well, my vision was the same and my eye pressure dropped to a good level (13) from what it was (57). But afterwards my eye pressure dropped too low

Whose advice should I follow?
I had a trabeculectomy 18 months ago. Last July I went to a Moorfields virtual clinic for monitoring. I received a letter from the doctor a few days later to say that my visual field on the operated eye was gradually worsening & that I would be seen at the Consultant led clinic four months later. I

Simbrinza shortage?
Over the years my opthamologist and I have settled on Simbrinza eye drops as the best for my glaucoma. Yesterday my pharmacist tells me he can't find the drops anywhere and he's going to keep looking. We're in SE London area. Any suggestions? Thanks

SIBO!!! But fearing taking antibiotics, especially Neomicyn… I’ve heard of terrible side effects ( tinnitus and hearing loss).
Hello, here is my doctor's report: ''The report of your hydrogen and methane breath test is positive, both for small intestinal bacterial overgrowth as well as excessive methane-producing bacteria in the large bowel. It may be sensible to consider treatment with non-absorbable antibiotics. If you would
