Over the years my opthamologist and I have settled on Simbrinza eye drops as the best for my glaucoma.
Yesterday my pharmacist tells me he can't find the drops anywhere and he's going to keep looking. We're in SE London area.
Any suggestions? Thanks

Hello meandpd,
I regularly used to have trouble sourcing Simbrinza, until I had surgery and discontinued them. The Asda pharmacies were often helpful as I believe they use a different supplier, but I am in the South west. Otherwise try phoning different pharmacies and asking where you may source them. Have you tried your eye clinic ? Otherwise you could perhaps contact the manufacturers or distributers to find out the problem.
Good luck.
If all else fails Simbrinza contains 2 eye medicines ...Brinzolamide and Brimonidine which your eye clinic may be able to prescribe in place of Simbrinza. I remember someone suggesting this to me when I had problems obtaining it.
I was prescribed Simbrinza which I am unable to obtain from either of my pharmacies for over a year now, my consultant prescribed me Brimonodine and Brinzolomide instead which is the Simbrinza just two separate bottles of the mixture, it means you have to put two in your eyes instead of one, I am now on 3 different drops a day. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
