PVC's have arrived
As the
pacemaker
does not control the AF, just bypasses it, it seems amazing that these episodes have been so short, as in the past AF episodes always lasted many hours. It makes me wonder if my own reaction to pre
pacemaker
attacks of AF exacerbated it and made the episode longer. Interesting.

Also been told I’m doing well with my
pacemaker
. Let’s hooe it continues. I go back to hospital 1 July and hope everything’s ok. What a year especially when you walk “40 mins and do the gym and eat healthy. Can start doing arm exercises as well.

First year report - Linear Weight loss
It might be a coincidence that it was when they inserted an additional atrial lead and a replacement
pacemaker
. Last week I had a plate of sandwiches on Monday and a tea party on Wednesday, and my Apple Watch ECG told me I was in Atrial Fibrillation (AF).

Worried stupid update
Hi just an update to add to my 1st "worried stupid " post It turns out the beta blockers weren't doing anything to correct his heart rate and the option of changing the
pacemaker
/adding wires isnt an option as his heart beat is strong it's just not beating correctly with the ectopic beats and the miss

To stop Verapamil or not
At almost exactly 1 week later I started a run of what turned out to be Aflutter which I was eventually hospitalised with and converted back to NSR using my
Pacemaker
(Overdrive) I left hospital with a prescription for Verapamil 120 which I have been taking since early April. 1 week after the conversion

Travel Insurance - What a palaver!
More scrutiny was given to these medications than the
pacemaker
I now have. I was asked which of my medications were to treat high blood pressure and which medications were to treat arrhythmia, etc.

Bisoprolol
I`m considering stopping bisoprolol as I`m frequently tired and lethargic.I thought for years it was my heart failure causing this, now I`m not convinced. My BP has always been low and the only reason I`m able to take bisoprolol is the fact that I have a
pacemaker
fitted and set at 60.

Pacemaker
. Has anyone else experienced this then had a
pacemaker
fitted. I am worried about the whole issue.

Progress report
He said that if it was not for my fear of Pacemakers because of my allergies he would be recommending a
pacemaker
now. He said if things get worse (apparently fainting or dizziness) I should contact him as he would then have to implant an
pacemaker
.

can Bisoprolol cause heart problems if given wrongly? and when will the side effects stop?
No one will listen to me and they say I need angioplasty, stents and ablation with a
pacemaker
but haven't done any other test's. I do not trust the hospitals anymore as I get too many different views on what I have mainly that I have Panic attacks. Can anyone help with advice?

Pace and ablate - update 3 months on
Well, it is now about 3 months since I had the
pacemaker
implanted and 7 weeks since the av node ablation. Since then I have had two
pacemaker
checks, one before the AV node was ablated (I was not going to let that happen until they had checked all was still in place!) .
