Slight Irregular heartbeat
After av node ablation and
pacemaker
, I still have a slightly irregular heart beat at times. Does that mean my ventricles are still working a little on their own? It may be PVC's.

Why do some people develop HF after av node ablation and pacemaker and some don't. They say about 40% do.
I had an av node ablation and
pacemaker
two months ago and feel really good. I was not informed of the possibility of developing AF at the time or about the biventricular
pacemaker
which I did not get. What determines why some people get it and some do not.

The Bionic Man - 2nd time lucky!

Still getting tachycardia with a pacemaker.
I had a
pacemaker
fitted for heart block a few years ago but recently getting tachycardia lasting 60 seconds 160 heart rate. I am getting tachycardia at rest. I have moderate mitral regurgitation should I be concerned.

Wine!!
Is it ok to drink alcohol after you have had a
pacemaker
. I have had mine four weeks and wondered whether it was ok to have a glass of wine. They say my heart is healthy and all bloods ok. I’ve got them baffled as to why my heart rate dropped so low .

Awake since 04:00 (pacemaker)
I do feel better now that they have increased the base pulse rate from 50 to 60... but, sometimes, it makes my brain over-active and I cannot get back to sleep.

Recent Myocarditis diagnosis for my husband.
After a really difficult six months of my husband being admitted to hospital three times and having a
pacemaker
(due to heart block) an ablation (due to svt's), MRIs and Pet scans he has now received another diagnosis of Myocarditis. He is 45 and four years ago also had a replacement aortic valve.

7 day holter monitor results
Results show that my heart pauses for 5.5 seconds and I was told if I was 65 I’d need a
pacemaker
, ( I’m 46). I’ll be seeing my cardiologist in 2/3 weeks to discuss the options. Has anyone else had any experience of anything similar to this? Thank you

Cycle accident leads to fitting of pacemaker.
Reluctantly I agreed to fitting a
pacemaker
to avoid future DVLA implications. They could not get the third lead to locate so I have ended up with a 2 lead
pacemaker
.

Would I be exempt from having to wear a mask?
I have been told if I was 65 I’d need a
pacemaker
fitted immediately.

And a great time was had by all!
So I had a lovely
pacemaker
helping me on to a 10k PB of 1:37:53 and she also did a longer run than she’s been able to for a while, so winners all round! Yes, I know that’s slow but, hey, I’m an OldGirlRuns and 18 months ago there’s no way I could or would have ever thought of doing that 🥳!

Urologist or Oncologist for 2nd opinion and treatment
He was supposed to get an MRI to confirm the suspicious bone areas, but due to his
pacemaker
, they are having him do another CT scan. My question is whether we should find an oncologist for a 2nd opinion and treatment. I get conflicting answers when I search in google.
