Is it ok to drink alcohol after you have had a pacemaker. I have had mine four weeks and wondered whether it was ok to have a glass of wine. They say my heart is healthy and all bloods ok. I’ve got them baffled as to why my heart rate dropped so low .

You really need to ask your GP or cardiologist as nobody here knows about any underlying medical conditions you may have or medications you are on.
That’s just it I haven’t got any thing else wrong that they can find at all. They can’t find the cause if low pulse. Blood tests fine, kidneys fine, liver fine, heart MRI shows healthy heart. I am a mystery to cardiologists. They told me to go home and be totally normal. I fancied a glass of wine with my Sunday lunch but I darent have one.
I have a pacemaker, the odd drink does not affect me.
Everything in moderation.
I had a few drinks about 4 months after my pacemaker implantation, and got the most awful palpitations that frightened the life out of me as I'd never had them before. I tried again about 3 months later and it was OK, but haven't had one since.
I would give your pacemaker a few months to settle in, but I don't think there's any reason why you shouldn't have a drink if you want one.
hi, what was your question? hic!
You have to be careful with Alcohol after you've had a pacemaker. This is something your doctor will have an answer to. I'm sure you shouldn't be drinking too much. If you crave alcohol that much, a glass of wine shouldn't harm you.
You can get wine online now. I get it on newbiedeals.com/wine-welcom... because it's a place where you can find great offers. There is no need to spend a lot of money on wine anymore.
I like drinking it and trying new ones. Sometimes I drink wine that no one likes, and I end up liking it. That shows that I know nothing about it, but I don't care.
