1700 rapid heart beats in 6 months

Hello.i have been with this group for many years ( maybe 16) I am female,

I have had 3 ablations, the last one was more than 2 years ago and that one was successful. I am on 5 mg twice a day of bisoprolol and 100 mg twice per day.

I am 77 years old. I also have a pacemaker since 20211.

I just came back from having pacemaker checked, I have it checked every 6 moths.

Registered Only one afib episode on sept 8/20.

However the tech was quite surprised why no one has done anything about my

1700 fast heartbeats that last from 1 min to 4 min. (6 mth period)

1400 fast heartbeats similar in the previous 6 mths.

The cardiologist/ep I had for many years and also performed my 3 ablations was excellent I felt.

The new cardiologist I have had for approx 1 and half years I am not thrilled with.

The reason for change was new one much closer to where I live and the ep one doesn’t keep seeing too long after ablations are successfull , as well this one was recommended. ( maybe a mistake).

Any suggestions will be welcomed, as I have always thought highly of your responses for everyone in the last 16 years.

I think the important thing is how you feel. The "burden" you describe does not sound heavy to me so quality of life is all that matters.
