I had a pacemaker fitted for heart block a few years ago but recently getting tachycardia lasting 60 seconds 160 heart rate. I am getting tachycardia at rest. I have moderate mitral regurgitation should I be concerned.

I've got a pacemaker and have started getting runs of speedy fluttering, not sure what it is, nothing showed on my last pacing check but I know I'm not imagining it, cardio has ordered a 24 hour ecg. Just when I thought things were going well 😬

Thanks, the pacemaker has recorded the episodes but I thought pacemakers stopped arrhythmias. I did initially report the episodes because I felt quivering but wasn’t taken seriously but on pacemaker interrogation it shows several episodes. I am waiting to discuss with the cardiologist .

Depends on the pacemaker I think, mine is for bradycardia and heart block pauses, doesn't stop tachycardia or arrhythmia, I take Bisoprolol for that.
