I'm not going to start with formalities, this is about the 50th place I have come to find help, but seems the most informatic.... So, will start with the bad... I'm a former 'Terminal' cancer patient that had Nasopharyngeal and non hodgking lymphoma ok... I've had 30+ ops, the highest dose of Radiation

The operation left me in severe pain after years of stronger and stronger painkillers and the pain never under control now on oxycontin and oxynorm plus pregabalin (similar to gabapentin) while the pain under better control it is still such a daily struggle.

My hypersomnia is caused by oxycodone wearing off in the middle of the night, causing restless sleep and periodic limb movements: take 15 mg oxycontin to last all night long. 2.

My tablets have just been changed from OxyContin 40mg to Longtec 40mg and I've been on OxyContin for quite a few years and wondered if this is a cost thing are Longtec cheaper and do they work as well ?

Im on OxyContin, diazepam, pregabalin along with other drugs for type 2 diabetes, depression and sleep medication for sleep paralysis. I also have dry eyes, double vision occasionally and was left with saddle anaesthesia following caudal epidural which comes and goes, comes more than goes.

Hi lovely ladies I was just wandering if anyone else is on OxyContin for pain and how they are finding it?

Due to my original accident and my fibro I take a drug called oxycontin. Its an opiate so must be taken on time or I find myself in all sorts of hell.

I was on Oxycodone, Oxycontin which lessened the pain but didn't get to the problem. I then changed to a Fentanyll patch which has been a disaster so over the last month I have gradually almost stopped all pain meds. I am struggling bigtime but at lleast my brain isn't numb.

I'm starting it tomorrow so my husband is home with me, but if there is anything I should know please tell me. Thanks Have a good day ! Carol

After the diagnostic lap I have been in agony, can't pass urine properly, can't sleep I'm in so much pain and am now on OxyContin as a result which still is doing nothing!!

So, I went to U of M and the Dr there wanted me to try oxycontin, but since it may cause respiratory problems, wanted me to do a(nother) sleep study to make sure I didn't have sleep apnea. Well, the results came back that I have moderate sleep apnea. So no medication until I start using a CPAP.

I've been taking OxyContin three times a day since 2002 for Fibromyalgia. Monday my doctor prescribed Butrans because my breakthrough pain has been high. I've only received minimal pain relief the first 24 hours which I understand might take 3-30 days for any real relief.

I take 12 hour slow release OxyContin and have oxycodone to top it up for when pains get worse, I also take nefopam, but they just aren't helping at all, I'm stuck in bed doubled up in agony and on sat night I started being sick with the pains, it went on all night, I eventually went into a&e and they

Have been on OxyContin 50mg twice a day for 8 months I am now on a withdrawal having side affects if feeling sick and being really tired. Can anyone advice me is this normal

If this is true, then forget it - I'm not going to get started on oxycontin and lose all my teeth! :(

I even tried to get into the trial stage, however they said I'm on too high a OxyContin to take me on trial. This is about the only drug I haven't tried and am hoping someone can help me and tell me where it's available (to even buy)?

I am under pain management team, and take all usual fibro drugs plus OxyContin . Any ideas to help change this low pattern and help me with some improvement
