Keep active when having an anxiety attack.
Hi all. I am 72 and have suffered from panic/anxiety attacks since at least 20 years and for no particular reason other than I’m afraid of aging. Lol Heart in the throat seemingly going at a hundred miles an hour. Think I’m going to die, worse when I’m in a mall or in a crowd of people. I then need

What is the best anti anxiety medication?
My husband has terrible anxiety which is affecting his symptoms. He was on mirtazapine which turned him into a zombie but has weaned off them over 3 months under dr supervision. But now he is suicidal with anxiety but says he isn’t depressed. He has tried ashwaghanda, bacopa, kava (bad reaction).

Antidepressants inducing violent behaviour?
I have spent six months taking sertraline (zoloft) to help me with my anxiety and depression. I stopped taking the medication as I felt it was making me aggressive and reckless. While still on it I started driving much faster, and seemed to have completely lost my inhibitions. I was also very aggressive

SSRI withdrawal specialist psychiatrist UK?
After 8 years of using seroxat for my anxiety, 2 months ago I had to come off it very quickly due to lowered heart rate(bradycardia) (recommendation by cardiologist). I was put on diazepam 5mg x 2/day as a last resort in order to research and find a medication that would not cause a to low heart rate

Edinburgh Royal Infirmary
Hi everyone I hope this Friday evening is finding you all well. I am due to have an ablation in January at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. I was wondering if anyone on here has had ablation done at this hospital. I decided after putting a post up that I would go ahead with ablation after all the positive

Test without a blood sample?
Hi. My 17 year old daughter has been struggling with symptoms that point to Hypothyroidism for a long time. Back and forth to the GP but not really got anywhere. The problem is she is severely phobic and cant have a blood test (we got her into the chair once but she had a panic attack and was sick).

Burning, buzzing muscles!
Does anyone get this, I get it a lot, but, just lately I wake in the night with my neck, shoulders, back and some times legs feeling like they are tingling big time to the point of burning or buzzing. My jaw and my teeth hurt too as I clench a lot in the night. It doesn't happen all the time, but when

Med free remedies when you feel an anxiety attack coming on.
Nothing wrong with taking a xanax or diazepam from time to time if you're beginning to feel panicky. But there are other ways to calm frazzled nerves worth knowing about. People use them all the time but maybe some newbies haven't heard about them so worth mentioning. Controlled breathing can release

pounding heartbeat and anxiety only when I wake up. Morning or nap.
I wake up every single morning with a pounding heartbeat and anxiety. This happens every morning and whenever I wake up from a nap. This feeling of anxiety and heart pounding, "not racing", disappears as the day goes on. As soon as it calms down, it isn't till then, I regain the desire to do things

Why have I never known of RLS-UK before now?
Well...having had RLS and Period Limb Movement diagnosed in 2000 (following a chance conversation with a friend/colleague who worked in the sleep study dept of a large teaching hospital) although I certainly had symptoms from childhood, I have had UK hospital/ Consultant input since 2000 and from approx

The new normal.
Up at 12:20 with Larry bell ringing. Going in found him on his side with a pile of diarrhea under him. Got him up and into the bathroom on the toilet. He had a bit more. While he was on the toilet striped the bed and remade it. Washed the sheet out in the toilet on the third floor. Came down and cleaned
