Early possible Meneire’ Disease.
Hi, I’ve just turned 70 years and for some time over the last two years I have been having problems with tinnitus and odd spells of momentary dizziness with a strange sound in my head. At first I didn’t really take too much notice of it, but over this time it has slowly increased, especially these dizzy

Can a vacuum cleaner cause hearing loss.
Hello there . This is my first post on here but not my first time in a tinnitus forum so I know how much anxiety a person with T can have. Right now I am living in an anxious state and wanted to seek some reassurance. Today I had to use a vacuum cleaner which was really loud(seemingly even louder than

Not coping
I had surgery in 1997 for removal of an acoustic neuroma. This left me with one sided hearing and tinnitus. The tinnitus was always manageable and didn't interfere with my life. 3 years ago out of the blue it started in both ears and the volume was unbearable and still is. I cant sleep and cant

One sided tinnitus
I’d appreciate hearing from anyone with a similar situation. Came on about 8 months ago. No apparent cause. Only on one side (left). No hearing loss. Continuous, doesn’t vary. High pitched buzz/tone. MRI clear. It gets worse when I open my mouth or move my jaw to one side. Had an assessment for TMJD

Maskers/Sound Therapy
Hi everyone not posted for awhile. I have had T for around 18 months. In that time I have habituated and then relapsed a few times. The T at the moment seems much louder and sometimes it’s pitch almost feels painful. I have done some CBT and learnt a few relaxation techniques which helps to some extent

Tinnitus which started the same time as hypothyroidism diagnosis
Can I ask does anyone get tinnitus as a symptom of their hypothyroidism? My doctor says it’s not related, but am sure it is.

Tinnitus on four day cycle.
I have had tinnitus in largely in one ear since having my second Astra Zeneca injection. It has tended to come and go on a four day cycle. At it's worst it is quite painful, and cause headaches, the tinnitus seems then to go through my head from ear to ear, like an electric current. I think it may

Is Vortioexetine the tinnitus silver bullet?
Neil Bauman PHd Centre of Hearing Loss in the US says "Vortioexetine ( trintelix) is the best with no reports that I have seen of this drug causing tinnitus?" He is comparing it to Citalopram,Bupropion,Sertraline and Gabapentin Just wondering if anyone has first hand experience with Vortioexetine

Antidepressant Medication caused my tinnitus
I started taking Sertraline about 3 weeks ago and developed tinnitus after taking them for 9 days, I then carried on taking them for another 5 days but the tremors were to hard to deal with. My doctor then put me on mirtzapine, I woke up this morning with screaming tinnitus which has calmed down but

B2 vitamin
I have recently come across having low B2 causing low mode, fatigue, skin problems, hair falling out etc. I have had some of the symptoms of low B2 I know my b12 is in the right range. A B2 test needs you to do a pee test. I’ve not ever been tested for low B2 and I’m wondering may be this is getting

Referral for MRI
Hi my audiologist referred me to have an MRI after my last hearing test. Nobody has explained why, but my own research has come up with acoustic neuroma. Any thoughts?

Tinnitus complicated by migraines
I have been getting migraines for several years now and get Botox injections for them. This seems to work well. Now after getting covid19 and developing tinnitus from it, the tinnitus seems to bring on more migraines and alternatively the migraines will bring on a more intense tinnitus. Just wondering

Have you lost your sense of taste as well as tinnitus and hearing?
I was reading a reply on another post where someone mentioned a loss of taste and smell. I have been suffering altered taste for at least 5 years - then 4 years ago 1 sided deafness and tinnitus and now 2 sided deafness. I can still smell things ok - mostly . I am always unsure if I have cooked food

Hello I’m a 21 yo male in the USA. Sorry for the long post in advance. About 4 months ago I would get random dizzy spells usually they would happen after work. Or in a car typically at night time. I’m not sure how to explain the feeling but basically it felt like my eyes couldn’t focus on anything and

Hello
Hi. I'm waiting for an MRI scan to confirm or rule out acoustic neuroma. I missed a scan in January because I was unwell so now I'm going in April. I have one sided hearing loss with intrusive tinnitus but no other symptoms. Is it possible to have acoustic neuroma without any balance issues? Thank you

Pulsatile or more common tinnitus.
I am new to this site and look forward to any help going. I have had tinnitus for years and over time my brain has handled it very well. Now the noise has increased and I have a continuous sound in my right ear. This sound is something like an engine running at various speeds with variations but constantly
