My profile is updated, but briefly, diagnosed de novo, high volume metastatic in April 2022. PSA 28.2, Gleason 4+5. ADT & 6 rounds chemo brought PSA to 0.48 in Jan. 2023 & then started creeping up. In June, went over 2 & MO felt was castrate resistant. Stopped abi. and started Keytruda (I am MSI- high

Hi Everyone, I'm new to this but so glad I found it. Thought I'd introduce myself....no point in holding back!
Hi, This October 2023, will mark the 25th 'Anniversary' of when, at the age of 26, I was wheeled into Theatre for an Operation that lasted 7hrs. I had 8 months previously been told that there was nothing wrong with me when I kept going & phoning the Doctors as my Period (as I thought it was) came

Two trees, four textures; a mixed media painting
Really this was just playing around with my materials. It was fun. The composition is meant to invite each viewer in turn to examine each tree as a separate painting -- a kind of stand-alone. I hope you enjoy them. On a darker note, I have an appointment with my oncologist on Monday afternoon to discuss

Q & A with my husband's MO
I'm posting this in case someone finds it helpful. The scans show visceral as well as bone mets. That plus a steep rise in his PSA and the start of chemo really soon have us in a sober state of mind. Continuing to lean on Jesus for strength. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1wXoa3LDjRUyZ4dE9wLJQAg32jRcEISF4v3KeSOT83gg

Prostate cancer morphed into NEPC
I was recently blindsided by my "under control" prostate cancer, turning into High Grade Neuroendocrine Prostate cancer (NEPC). After 13 years of various therapies, the last few years included Lupron/Eligard, Zytiga, Xtandi. This kept the PSA low (around .2) and kept my MO happy. In 2021, I asked my

My Recovery so far post Stem cell Transplant
Sorry I've been absent for so long, my stem cell transplant journey has been a difficult one to be honest and only now do I feel able to be able to tell the story so far. Thank you to everyone who kindly messaged me to see how I was and apologies for asking so long to respond. I really appreciated

What’s next after pirtoimbrutinib?
My husband has been on pirtobrutinib for one year in October. He was granted a compassionate use authorization by the FDA since it had not yet been approved by the FDA. His oncologist told him yesterday the efficacy of this drug is 12-18 months. His journey so far has been bundamustine chemo

Day 2 Enhertu infusion
The first day the infusion protocols went very smoothly. Received saline fluids first, 3 premeds for nausea etc. then the Enhertu. No pain no side effects. My infusion nurse suggested a port for me. My vein in my arm is scarred. So port it is. I am drinking 💦 and eating light carrots 🥕 🍦 🥗! No nausea

Recurrence in spleen
Had chemo and debulking surgery 2 years ago. Stage 3 HGS OC. 1st recurrence 3 months ago with lesions in spleen and peritoneum. Consultant advises watch and wait and does not advise splenectomy. CA125 76, no symptoms. Just wondering if anyone out there has lesions in their spleen and what treatment
