For when "YOU" accidentally OD or scream for more opioids to stop the pain. That has saved me several times. Develop habits and patterns. Make things that "YOU" do regularly so ingrained that "YOU" just do them. Become the ultimate robotic soldier with some of your habits.

I had been on fentanyl patches 37.5mcg for several years, doing wonderfully with a healthy quality of life, but my insurance company kicked me off of them - I’m in USA and apparently they want me on abuse-deterrent opioids no matter how detrimental or the monetary cost.

It is supposed to release naturally occurring opioids from your brain, providing all over pain relief. It is pricey. Please let me know, very interested. Love, Kelly

He is spearheading multi-state lawsuits against the manufacturers of opioids and stated that, frankly, he hopes to get big enough judgments to put them out of business. Well, that is all well and good for him to say, but what about those of us who depend on opioids for easing our pain?

I’m on gabapentin 1200mg x3 daily as well as opioids, I feel so alone.

I know you guys, know your stuff about restless leg syndrome, & may have read this article, but thought it was worth posting for thoughs who have suffered augmentation from Dopamine antagonist, & are looking at other treatments rather than opioids.

However ,sadly, the opioids have stopped working. And I am wondering if anyone has been using kratom successfully long term on it's own? x

(Opioids and Xanax). I have been on these meds for close to 20 years and am now in dialysis and pain drs are now scared to prescribe for people for people that really need these medications like myself.

So having read more on here and the Christopher Earley webnair/podcasts re opioids for the past 4 nights I am now taking 30mg Codeine at night as well as the Ropinerol 2mg-sleep almost all night and the leg restlessness in the day is reduced.

With the help of opioids, I was able to taper totally off of it over the course of a year. I've been totally off it for the past year now but other things I've tried have not worked well. So, I'm considering going back on pramipexole now that my body has 'reset'.

I did actually treat it I kept overdosing on opioids. I do recommend against this as the pain never subsided I just ended up in an ER scaring everybody, though admittedly it was interesting to watch. So how do I/"YOU" cope?

I thought that only happened with dopamine agonists and not on opiates / opioids ? Most of what I have read on forums etc suggest the overwhelming symptoms of RLS / PLMS are pain / uncomfortable sensations and this is what has a serious impact on quality of life.

It was mentioned in a tv programme as an alternative to opioids. I am currently on 20mg twice a day of slow release morphine for joint pain caused by my RA plus chronic lower back pain with right SI joint involvement.

Hi Since I have problems with dizziness when taking opioids for pain I have now been put on Lyrica. Started on 25 mg oat night for 3 days with no side effects. Then upped the dose to 50 mg at night yesterday. And today I am feeling dizzy whenever I move my head.

Does anyone have experience with side effects of long term opioids?

I can assure "YOU" that opioids are not really very useful. At least not for Trigeminal Neuralgia. So, my friend, the point is. Without being too crass, open your mouth and ask a question of a professional before "YOU" get scared, ask and learn your risks.
