G’day my beloved ms family. Everybody is doing really well today. Had a great and restful nights sleep. No Relapsing-Remitting ms (RRms) demons disturbing “YOU”. It will happen eventually, I just have no idea when. After over 20 years they still can cause me grief for no discernible reason.
This is life with RRms. I expect nothing else. It is a chronic incurable condition. I take my Disease-Modifying Therapy (DMT) per instructions, exercise (sort of ) eat right and keep myself to healthful habits, yet still I see in my annual Magnetic Resonance Image (MRI) test reports some progression of the disease. Such is life with RRms. This is our challenge, wether we like it or not, we have to live our best life with it. Nobody ever taught us how to live with RRms, but live we must. RULE 1 is that we can never intentionally cause ourself harm, accidents are human, but deliberate actions to hurt yourself are a big NO-NO. Accidents happen, I myself have overdosed on Opioids two or three times, sometimes pain gets the better of “YOU”. Pain is a very sneaky demon, and sometimes, well, let’s just say sometimes. Take it as a serious warning, BE CAREFUL in what “YOU” do and what “YOU”take.
RRms is a challenge, it is not always easy, but it is NOT impossible. Put your Mind\Back into it and “YOU” can live a long happy and joyous life despite it. There is no need to give up, sometimes beg for mercy, expecting none, but carry-on through it. I am lost how to phrase this BUT here is my attempt. RRms is a sneaky conniving disease, with no known reason why and no known cure. BUT it is yours and mine to live through and make the best of. In the process learn something about ourselves, life, the universe. Do not crawl into a corner a sobbing mess. Stand up, pull your shoulders back, look straight ahead. Say to yourself with a strong voice. “This is my life challenge , I accept it and I will do my ABSOLUTE BEST. Not yours or anybody else’s, MINE”.
“YOU” accept this challenge, “YOU” am STRONG. It may not be obvious at first, “YOU” may not know where this strength comes from BUT IYOU AREAM STRONG, YOU CAN FACE THIS CHALLENGE. Do your best.
