Started Enbrel syringe injections twice a week
well after finally recovering from the bronchitis and asthma I have finally done my first ever injection with a syringe. I have to mix the enbrel and it is a bit of an involved process but the enbrel nurse was fantastic and talked me through each step. She will come again on Monday for the second one

I was prescribed this combination and am just about to start taking them and wondered if anyone else is on this combination and if so how long have you been taking them and how do you find them in comparison to others you may have been on before? I was on Sprivia which I was fine with by Symbicort always

How stupid am I?
I have been receiving medication through Healthcare at Home for almost four years - humira initially, enbrel now - delivered every four weeks. A month ago I asked them to provide Two months supply mid June to cover a holiday I am going on at the end of June. This meant Healthcare at Home needed to

Crook
Haven't been on as I have been pretty crook. Started out as some form of bronchitis and has ended up in severe asthma, possibly due to heart meds I was on causing fluid build up around my lungs. Needless to say I am coming up to week 3 no enbrel and it is compounding the general feeling of blah. I have

Starting an Enbrel shot once a week! Anyone have any information about this drug? I can't believe the cost!!
I am starting an Enbrel shot once a week and am looking for any information from others who have tried this treatment. I also have type 1 diabetes and am hoping this treatment works and provides me with some relief without affecting my BG levels. Thanks!

Rib cage and RA
Hello there, I'm suffering a huge flare at the minute. The anti tnf drugs, enbrel, humira etc did not work for me. I currently take 15mg of prednisone daily, all in all I take 30 tablets daily including morphine and maxi tram. I have severe pain in my rib cage on the left hand side. It's so painful

Twice weekly Enbrel injections, just can't get my head round what days to inject
Well after all the trails of getting Humira I was taken off it due to horrid side effects and put back on Enbrel but twice weekly now and I simply just can not 'get my head round' which days to inject.I asked the nuse who help me with first injection and her reply was oh yes there is only 7 days in

Remicade (Infliximab) and Insurance in the US?
Hi all, my doctor wants to prescribe Remicade but the pre-authorization forms make me worried that 1) Behcet's is not covered (because only 5 other illnesses are included on the form), and 2) It may be covered under pharmaceutical (expensive!) rather than medical (where they will do the injections in

Enbrel and Sulphasalazine
I saw my rheumy doc today after being on Enbrel alone for 5 weeks. He wants to start me on a low dose of SSZ because he says that Enbrel is not a mono therapy. I am terrified of this new DMARD since I was on MTX and Leflunomide in the past and both caused significant hair loss, crispy fingernails

Fed up !
I've had my RA diagnosis for over 4 yrs. I'm on Mtx and Enbrel pens and allegedly in remission. However the morning stiffness is starting to last longer. More joints are tender again - especially fingers, wrists and elbows, but no swelling and redness. I'm sure that one of the meds isn't working so well

Fybromyalgia?
Hi all, I've just had my Rheumy review, apart from upping my MTX to 17.5mg injections and my Enbrel, they now said I probably have fybromyalgia. (alongside the rheumatoid disease, hypo thyroid, and hyper mobility) Does anybody have any experiences of this I'm in the dark as i thought that was one of

Humira - so happy I'm able to knit again!
After having adverse reactions to all previous meds I am having my third Humira injection on Wednesday. I am so happy because I can knit again! Albeit using circular needles to take the weight off my hands/wrists and occasionally wearing my Imak arthritis gloves. I am so happy. Over the past two years
