I take selenium (200), Vitamin D (4000IU), Vit K, probiotics, Omega 3, Magnesium (Calm) everyday and I am 90% on AIP diet for the last

Omega 3 and 6 (forget the peanut butter thread)
I am sure you lot are all familiar with these greek foods "the Omegas" I call them in my book. 1.So it seems walnuts are what peanut butter should be made from and it should still be called peanut butter to avoid descrimination and arguments. Because I have an olive grove on my estae in Portugal and

Omega-3 fish oil supplements linked with lower cardiovascular disease risk
I thought we had been told that fish oil supplements don't work. It seems that they do, a little: "This meta-analysis provides the most up-to-date evidence regarding the effects of omega-3 supplementation on risk of multiple CVD outcomes. We found significant protective effects of daily omega-3 supplementation

PMR, prednisone and daily stomach pain, plus weekly pain Alendronic acid
Wanted to ask: 1) who else suffers from stomach pains after taking their daily prednisolone? I take 12mg/day+ omeprazole for tummy but still get stomach pains (doubled omeprazol dose recently too) 2) Same question for alendronic acid.... Always gives me really bad stomach pain. Is that a normal experience

Can diet prevent or slow down dementia?
We hear so much from the media about what we should or should not eat. One day blueberries are the new so-called ‘superfood’ that will reduce our risk of developing dementia, the next it is the humble plum. But what information can we rely on to be accurate? Can the food we eat really reduce our risk

lower back pain and right hip pain especially lying in bed
I had a DEXA scan just over 2 years ago as part of breast cancer treatment. This identified I had osteoporosis in my spine, I'm not sure of the scores or exactly where but I was told my hips are fine. I have had back problems on and off for years but generally with a visit to a chiropractor and exercise
