Baffled not sure what to think? Is it asthma or not?
Hey hope your all as well as you can be and staying safe. I will apologise in advance as I have so much floating around in my head not sure how it will come out... I've been putting off coming on here but I really need advice/ reassuring/humour/ or am I imagining my symptoms and need to get over it

Cetirizine or Loratadine?
Hi! I had a bad insect bite 12 days ago, I’ve taken hydrocortisone and antibiotics for a week. The itching is driving me crazy. Doctor just prescribed Eumivate and told me to take either cetirizine or loratadine. I’m on my way to the chemist. Would you choose one over the other? Is one brand better than

Clemastine (Tavegyl), an over-the-counter drug, found to be effective at inducing LMP and cell death
For what it may be worth, thougbt some of you might like to see this: "Lysosomes in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) cells have previously been identified as a promising target for therapeutic intervention in combination with targeted therapies. Recent studies have shown that antihistamines can induce

Spontaneous twitchy wrist
has anybody with advanced PCa got twitchy wrist. By this I mean a tendency for a wrist to vibrate like you see in Parkinson sufferers. When my arm is hanging loosely, e.g. when I am walking, my right wrist starts spontaneously vibrating and I have to clench my fist to stop it. This started quite suddenly

VERY HIGH THIAMINE blood levels
Routine bloodwork last week in hubby has turned up surprising. His THIAMINE blood level is 378.9 with the lab's maximum range being 200.0. I know B1 is not supposed to be toxic. His kidney functions are fine, but his liver enzymes are extremely high, too. The Dr. is running more tests to determine

Fiery nerve pain, allergies or???
My medical story is complicated. A few days ago I was put on Tildiem for SVT prevention. It seems to have re triggered GERD (that I only just got under control 😫😔), but also what I thought was hay fever, but I’m not so sure. I took loratadine the earlier and it’s made no difference. I stopped the Tildiem

Hayfever medication help!
I am 12+5 with a first pregnancy and normally suffer really badly with hay fever. However my normal medication (Fexofendine 180mg) isn't safe during pregnancy. I've tried cetirizine and loratadine before but neither has worked for me. I'm not sure who to go to as I won't be able to get a GP appointment

Loratidine
This cheap over the counter antihistamine that is supposed to be none sleepy has two side effects useful to me (they may not apply to others). It is slightly sedative and it reduces urination slightly. I have started taking 10mg before bedtime. It also has anti cancer properties, see paper below. Repurposing

Help Needed with spirometry results?
Cutting a very long story short. Never smoked, weight always been ok, except maybe needing to lose 1/2 stone, always exercised. Since my 30’s lungs sensitive to smoke, perfume, chemicals etc. Allergic to dust/cats as is quite usual, Had chronic cough for years but cleared up once I gave up gluten (!!

Loratadine (Clarityn) as a trigger?
I'm 4 months post ablation, not had any A Fib episodes or ectopics from using my Kardia since 2nd May, however Wed I felt I had a higher HR and then yesterday I went back into AFib. The only thing that has changed is I bought a new packet of hay fever tablets, and checking back they are based on Loratadine

Bronchitis sinusitis... comes with the territory?
Last year, before being diagnosed with W&W CLL, I got bronchial and sinus congestion that trailed on for a couple of months... This year, dealing with same, mostly sinusitis, but some bronchial mucous, etc. . Prior to CLL, I rarely had colds... now seemingly it will be chronic also. Surely others have

Loratadine for dermagraphism...
I take loratadine for my dermagraphism and believe it may have something to do with RLS. My diagnosis of derm requires me to take the loratadine. In looking back, it was probably within a few years that I noticed the RLS symptoms (mild). Does anyone else have this same problem? If so, I was wondering

Allergic asthma
Hello I hope everyone is well and coping with the winter weather? I posted in this forum back in July as I had a very bad asthma flare up that was causing a lot of confusion. Since the warm summer months came in, I started waking up every night with bad asthma episodes that could last from 30mins

FR Treatment 6 of 6
Last week of treatment! I made it through all 6 rounds after Friday. I sometimes feel like I struggle to stay focused with my thoughts. I have read about chemo fog, but really wonder how long this will last. I still feel a little apprehensive about what to expect. Acoording to my hematologist I
