Egg freezing process
At the moment I am in the process to freeze my eggs I am lucky because my AMH is high but I am less lucky because I am scare to have a flar up of endometriosis and
OHSS
syndrome. Having too much information time to time can be hard and also more overwhelming …. So scare also regarding needles!!!

No side effects on Buserelin
I’ve had side effects in both ivfs (both short protocol) and even sufferd with
OHSS
but this is my first time using Buserelin (doing a frozen transfer) so i was expecting the worse.

Why is life so cruel
So when I got married we started ivf and my first round I miscarried twins, second round didn’t work, I had
ohss
then had frozen transfer when I was better and then I was in a car accident 10mins from leaving the clinic after having embryo transfer. The third round I got my BFP!

Fresh or frozen double transfer
before emigrating to the uk so my doctor wants to do a double embryo transfer to increase the odds of success My worry is that she wants to do it as a fresh transfer after my retrieval In my last cycle I ended up in hospital with open abdominal surgery a day after transfer and we not sure if it was

HELP no needle and syringe for trigger IVF
I am at high risk of
OHSS
so will now be using Suprecur as my trigger injection. I picked up the prescription today but they didn’t supply a needle and syringe! What should I do? Where could I get one from? Would I just go to a pharmacy? Thanks in advance!

Embryo storage cost
It’s my first cycle of IVF (my partner has gone through it before though) and due to
OHSS
I had to have a freeze all. We are very lucky to have a number of Day 5 blastos to freeze but I was wondering how storage costs are generally calculated?

Egg Collection Day- Now FET
Anyhow due to the retrieval of 20 eggs and and enlarged ovaries we have been told it will be a FET in a few months to give my body time to rest as I'm now at increased risk of
OHSS
.

14 eggs, 13 mature, 2 embryos. What happened?
I had a lot of follicles in the run up to egg retrieval so the clinic decided they would need to ‘freeze all’ a few days before egg collection as I would be high risk for
OHSS
. They collected 14 eggs. The next day I found out 13 were mature but only 2 fertilised.

Fet cycle high oestrogen
My fresh transfer was cancelled in March due to high oestrogen levels/
ohss
risk which is why I am doing frozen. I also had a cyst after my first cycle in October though never had bloods taken at that point to check hormones.

High estrogen in middle of cycle
Is this a sign of
ohss
and is a fresh transfer possible? Anything I can do to help? Water? Electrolyte drinks? Just seems strange as I'm already on a lower dosage. But I have been feeling the stims effects a lot more this time. Blessings to you all xx

Massive drop off in fertilisation rate after higher dose stims, alternative trigger and lots of supplements
As I was at risk of
OHSS
my trigger was changed from Gonasi to Busterline, which I believe is much less effective. The embryologist hinted that being over stimulated may have been a factor in the poor fertilisation as egg quality was poor, with lots of eggs fractured or empty.

Avoiding OHSS / PCOS
I have IBS so symptoms of mild
OHSS
are “normal” to me. I’m used to have few days without bowel movements, bloating… I am worried that I might missed the signs and go extreme. Being told I have risk once I have already started IVF is ridiculous.

Ovulation pain before FET?
I asked my Dr is this was
OHSS
due to the trigger but he mentioned that it is likely due to ovulation pain. My belly is bloated/looks swollen but I assume this is normal due to all the medication. Has anyone had this before/understand ovulation pain and how did you manage it?

Update from 2nd cycle: good and not just as good
Unfortunately I developed a little
ohss
and had high estrogen levels which messed up my lining so I've had to freeze my little embryos. It's disappointing of course as I was fully geared up for transfer but it's the right decision and I'm happy to wait to get my body back to health.

2WW and total absence of any symptoms! Please help, I’m going insane!
I also developed
OHSS
so I can’t compare how I was feeling then. Surely if it had worked I would feel some tightness in my tummy?

Alternative Treatment Abroad Update
First of all, I received a protocol with a maximum dose of stims and I suffer from
OHSS
, so I dug my heels in, but they wouldn't budge until I pulled out on day 2 of my period.

Terrified during my IVF
I’m terrified of the procedure, I’m terrified of
OHSS
, and then this feels so awful to admit but I’ve become terrified of pregnancy.

OHSS
When I went to the clinic on Friday the nurse said I was showing signs of
OHSS
and and so said I would be having a frozen cycle. My question is really should I be worried or is this normal? I’m panicking in case they cancel Monday….thanks I’m advance 💕

I can’t help but worry about the risk of
OHSS
and wondered if anyone had any advise as to how I can avoid (by meds or homely remedies) it and also if it is quite common? I will be having a frozen transfer and I’m 33 (BMI - 20.5) Thank you all in advance xxx

FET - what’s the process after a freeze all!
We had an egg collection at the end of November and are doing a freeze all cycle as I had high risk of
OHSS
. Wondering what peoples experiences are eg. When you start your transfer cycle and the process (how long it takes before they transfer) and how many appointments are likely to be needed?
