Update from 2nd cycle: good and not just as good
Unfortunately I developed a little
ohss
and had high estrogen levels which messed up my lining so I've had to freeze my little embryos. It's disappointing of course as I was fully geared up for transfer but it's the right decision and I'm happy to wait to get my body back to health.

2WW and total absence of any symptoms! Please help, I’m going insane!
I also developed
OHSS
so I can’t compare how I was feeling then. Surely if it had worked I would feel some tightness in my tummy?

Alternative Treatment Abroad Update
First of all, I received a protocol with a maximum dose of stims and I suffer from
OHSS
, so I dug my heels in, but they wouldn't budge until I pulled out on day 2 of my period.

Terrified during my IVF
I’m terrified of the procedure, I’m terrified of
OHSS
, and then this feels so awful to admit but I’ve become terrified of pregnancy.

OHSS
When I went to the clinic on Friday the nurse said I was showing signs of
OHSS
and and so said I would be having a frozen cycle. My question is really should I be worried or is this normal? I’m panicking in case they cancel Monday….thanks I’m advance 💕

I can’t help but worry about the risk of
OHSS
and wondered if anyone had any advise as to how I can avoid (by meds or homely remedies) it and also if it is quite common? I will be having a frozen transfer and I’m 33 (BMI - 20.5) Thank you all in advance xxx

FET - what’s the process after a freeze all!
We had an egg collection at the end of November and are doing a freeze all cycle as I had high risk of
OHSS
. Wondering what peoples experiences are eg. When you start your transfer cycle and the process (how long it takes before they transfer) and how many appointments are likely to be needed?

Ohss
Hi all, I had my trigger on Saturday and egg collection on Monday. I’ve been really tender and felt like I’ve been blowing up since. After talking to my nurse I was advised to go to a&e today to get checked out. The hospital did scans and bloods etc. My ovaries are swollen to the point she couldn’t

what is Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS)
I got told I have Ovarian hyper-stimulation syndrome (
OHSS
) has anyone ever suffered with this? the consultant said a normal percentage is 19.8 but mines 178. iv read up on google (I know I shouldn't but I can't help it) it says it effects your egg quality? has anyone ever had this or has this?

Another Miscarriage - what next?
I’ve still got frosties to use, but I’m sceptical of their quality given I got bad
OHSS
when they were retrieved. The clinic and embryologist said they wouldn’t have got to day 5 or defrosted like they have for the past three transfers if there was a problem with egg quality. So what next?

Post egg retrieval discomfort
I don’t have any symptoms of
OHSS
I’m just wondering if pain and discomfort is to be expected still after a few days?

When does OHSS resolve?! :(
Hi all looking for some advice from anyone who has had
OHSS
. I developed it pretty severely following fresh transfer and ended up in hospital at almost 5 weeks pregnant with almost 2 litres of free fluid in my abdomen.

Alternative IVF Update
The first 2 , I had
ohss
and the third i had internal bleeding. So, now I sit and wait and try not to freak out. I don't mean to put anyone off, just want to prepare anyone for the experience.

19 eggs collected now to wait two months for transfer…
The doctor said it was too risky to do the transfer in this cycle and to avoid
OHSS
we’ll have to wait one or two months and try with frozen instead of fresh. They’ve now said we have to wait until January. Has anyone been in the same situation?

Does IVF get easier, harder, or just as hard after the first round?
It wasn't a particularly traumatic experience, in the sense that nothing went terribly wrong, or I didn't have particularly bad pain or anything like that (no
OHSS
). But I feel absolutely *dread* at doing a second cycle. In many ways, I'm much more scared than the first time round. Is this normal?

Ovaleap Anxiety
I had
OHSS
last time and found the whole process so traumatic. They took 18 eggs, 17 of which fertilised but had all disintegrated by day 3. I’m not sure if it’s that we’re paying this time round but I’m finding the pressure intolerable! Anyone have any tips?!
