Fet cycle high oestrogen

Hi everyone. So I'm in the run up to an FET and had my baseline scan and bloods on Thursday. Turns out I have a 1.8mm cyst and bloods show very high oestrogen.

They are keeping me on my down reg for another 2 weeks and then will test again to see if I can continue this cycle. My fresh transfer was cancelled in March due to high oestrogen levels/ohss risk which is why I am doing frozen. I also had a cyst after my first cycle in October though never had bloods taken at that point to check hormones.

Is high oestrogen a chronic issue or is it more likely a result of the stims/cyst and could it be that I'm a little close to that fresh cycle and that's why I'm still dealing with high levels? I am assuming my levels were OK before I started my fresh cycle as I had a lot of bloodwork done then too.

I really don't want this cycle to be cancelled. I feel like I've been at it since February when I started my fresh as I only had a few of weeks off the drugs and then back at it again! Anyone have this and still continue on their cycle?

Aw Joey I'm sorry you're facing this uncertainty. Just feels like an endless cycle of delays and setbacks sometimes doesn't it! I'm afraid I can't offer any helpful advice as I've never had high oestrogen levels. I'm sure someone will be able to share their story. The IVF drugs can be brutal though, it worries me sometimes... I ended up with a breast cyst I'm November from our last fresh cycle which gave me lots of worry and was almost certainly caused me the meds 🙄😢 Xx
