Another BFN (trying for a sibling) and next steps
Firstly thanks everyone for sharing and responding, it honestly means the world to me to know you're all there, as at times I've felt so alone on this journey ❤️ I've lost count of the number of people (friends, family, doctors and close colleagues) who have said to me after every subsequent failed round

Hi I hope you can give me some pointers /help as I’m trying to work out what I need to treat first and my GP is not very helpful. I am 49 and on HRT (evorel 50 & utrogestan ). I have known for a while that I have subclinical hypothyroid as I have had regular blood tests over the years and at times

Mirena and Estrogen patches
After a year on prostap injections with hrt Tibolone, which made me feel very depressed, I've just had mirena coil fitted with
oestrogen
patches. Has anyone else this combination and how is it going?

Results of MRI
So saw the endometriosis consultant today and he was very good. My MRI scan came back and showed extensive endometriosis that has obliterated my Pouch of Douglas and fully attached my rectum and bowel to my cervix. I've got an endo cyst on my left ovary and blood in left fallopian tube. Cervix is swollen

Era cancelled, convert to timed intercourse 🤯 fed up
I'd three whopping follicles (30mm) and found out today they are producing
oestrogen
. So Dr has now cancelled my era cycle and told me to trigger and have timed sexual intercourse (tsi).

Need your advice, pls, what should I take and how?
Hey all, I've been on a bit of a journey, unwell for the past few years, diagnosed 2012, did awesome on thyroid meds until...I didn't. Since I have now all cofactors optimal (vit D, B12, folate, iron, ferritin - after iron IV, magnesium), I feel my problem either stems from cortisol issues or balance

Ivf loss - due to lack of TSH/ Hypothyroidism monitoring? Any advice appreciated :)
Hello all, very useful & supportive group this! :) thanks in advance for any thoughts.. My partner has hypothyroidism, and takes levothyroxine for it. She had 1st ever IVF transfer (frozen) in November, which became positive but sadly didn’t get past 4 weeks. Out of curiosity, she asked her GP to test

Update after stopping sertraline
Since stopping sertraline I have only had RLS once- this was after I walked 22k steps in a day (twice my normal) I continue on
oestrogen
HRT and I haven’t needed pregabalin. Feeling hopeful. Still using 12.5- 25 mg quetiapine at night to assist sleep with no RLS

No down regulation before FET (with endometriosis)
Please tell me that this is okay for when I do an FET? I had prostap on a previous cycle which failed and had it again in September with the intention of having an FET the next month. That cycle had to be cancelled because of spotting related issues and lining not developing. I then had a mega long

Social Life? Alcohol...
Just wondering if anyone still has a social life, going out having a few drinks? I know alcohol is bad for endo and inflammatory. I'm trying to limit it to 3 times a month. But December I have so many events! Going out tonight and dreading the aftermath tomorrow! But I enjoy going out and love wine so

Introduction and help navigating our NHS for Thyroid hormone replacement. Tips and support needed as it's a very tricky business.
Hi everyone. Been on my autoimmune thyroid journey for a few years now, was on 125mcg teva for a while, this dose almost suppressed the tsh, lowest was 0.003, it did however rise to 0.03. Gp reduced dose to 100mcg and TSH has now risen to 2.1. However (my bio gives loads of symptoms) I'm feeling steadily

Gp visit!
hello all. I have only very recently started having irregular periods and decided to mention it to my doctor. I am 39 and have never had a problem with my periods. He turned around and said its all related to my thyroid being so low! I mentioned about tested foe hormones(dhea/estrogen etc) and he declined

Soy concerns
Hi, I have been focusing on the nutrition posts to improve my diet as I have osteopenia. I am reading a lot of posts and articles saying to incorporate soy. I stay away from soy because of breast cancer risks. I don't have breast cancer but avoid any estrogen enhancing products/medication like hormone

Afinitor +ESR1 mutation for the hive mind.
Hi I am starting Afinitor on Wednesday after a mixed scan a few weeks ago after 6 months on Orserdu. It suddenly dawned on me that Afinitor is combined with estrogen therapy, likely an AI. But doesn't the ESR1 mutation cause AI resistance? In which case does that make Afinitor less effective? I will
