red light therapy
has anyone ever heard of or tried red light therapy? I’m sure that’s not the proper medical term but that’s what Dr Cooper called it. After the nerve induction test he said both my legs showed nerve weakness and the red light therapy is what he prescribed saying that it might possibly help the RLS.

Should I reduce dose slightly? T3/T4 combination therapy
Hello lovely people. I recently had my bloods done and met with my endocrinologist, and wanted to ask your thoughts. I am currently on 87.5mcg Levothyroxine and 25mcg T3 daily. I feel better than I have in a long time, though possibly slightly anxious (difficult to tell though as I am prone to anxiety

Radiation Sessions
I am considering proton therapy radiation for my DICS cancer found in the left breast. Six months ago, I had a dissection B - TAVAR for a torn aorta. I am very concerned about the radiation penetrating to heart and lungs. The main concern is if proton therapy radiation is so advanced, why is the standard

Research paper about T3/T4combination treatment. What happened there?
I became aware of this through "Endocrinology Advisor": https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38124252/ The link to the paper was not given. I found it myself. "Conclusions: Six months of combination therapy with twice-daily LT3 dose adapted according to TSH-level do not significantly change peripheral tissue

Thyroid Education Day, Birmingham (Edgbaston), January 26th
https://www.thyroideducationday.com This is the first event of this kind. Is someone here from Thyroid U.K. or anyone else who is a member of this group attending? Seems vital a) to have someone to put our case there and b) to have a record of discussions and developments, for current and future

newly diagnosed
my friend is newly diagnosed with CLL. It’s not at the stage of needing medical intervention. She wants to be proactive. Does anyone have experience of natural health treatments that work? Such as oxygen therapy or high levels of vitamin c? I would be very interested to hear of positive outcomes.

Venetoclax
Hi all Well we finally got to see a specialist. They did a bone marrow biopsy which showed 50% CLL infiltration on top of the pancytopenia. They have suggested treatment with Venetoclax only which they have said may reduce the frequency of transfusions which is currently weekly. I have only ever

Hi, I went T3 only 3 weeks ago after trying combination therapy for 6 months. At around the same I had my local surgery test for blood FBC, blood sugar, cholesterol, calcium folate, B12 Iron etc. This was just to check for my self that I wasn't encountering any other issues. To my surprise they also
