best affordable hearing aids
I’m writing for a friend who has mild tinnitus and considerable hearing loss. Her current hearing aids are not very effective and I wonder if anyone here can recommend some which aren’t too costly.

Hello Everyone, I've been reflecting on my symptoms and have come to realize that they are all connected to insulin resistance. These include issues like brain fog, not feeling satisfied after meals and feeling dizzy in the evening etc. The good news is that my fasting insulin levels are now within

Immune diseases and tinnitus
I have Axial SpA, more commonly known as Ankylosing spondylitis an autoimmune disease. I looked up whether Sudden Hearing Loss and tinnitus can be related to this condition. It apparently can relate to Rheumatoid arthritis. I wondered how many people here have autoimmune diseases........?

tinnitus has come back
I had a mild ear infection mid May 24, my ear suddenly blocked and I had sudden tinnitus. I took ear antibiotics for 7 days, which cleared the infection and the tinnitus nearly disappeared 4 weeks later.the dr said that I had a perforated ear drum which is common with infections, which will heal over

preventing clots what are the chances?
Someone recently posted that cardios found a clot before a procedure, even though they were on anticoagulants ... someone else posted that anticoagulants are only 75% safe in preventing clots due to AF ... which was a bit of a surprise I found studies comparing Edoxaban with Warfarin where it seems

My Doctor's theory
I have just read the article Research update: Looking for tinnitus biomarkers. Very encouraging and the first evidence that my doctors theory, many years ago, was probably correct. I have had Tinnitus since traumatic surgery aged six. (now 62) Unaware it was abnormal, I was not diagnosed until years

I finally got my sublingual buprenorhine!
Hi everybody! Thanks to this forum I finally got a neurologist who was willing to prescribe me 0.2mg sublingual buprenorphine tablets. I've been on 100 tramadol for two weeks and was wondering which would be the wiser way of switching from one to the other and finding the right dose. I'm a bit worried

Ear dilema
Hi folks 💛 I recently followed some bad advice and put warmed, diluted tea tree oil in my slightly clogged, itchy ear not realising that Tea Tree can be Ototoxic to the Cochlear. I diluted 3 drops of Tea Tree oil in 30ml of Olive oil and put 0.5 ml in my ear. I let it sit there for around 10 minutes

Does HBOT stimulate cancerous tissue?
I’m considering HBOT for cystitis and proctitis 11 months after HDR Brachyboost with pelvic SBRT. Just finished 1 year ADT. Here’s my concern. 11 months later, I know my cancerous cells are still in the process of dying and not being able to divide anymore. The idea of HBOT is to increase certain

CBD Gummy Bears
Has anyone used the CBD Gummy Bears 10mg for sleep, mild pain relief etc. I am trying to find out any interactions with medication. They seem to be ok with Flecainide but cannot find anything to do with Apixaban. Found a slight caution with warfarin but not anything to do with the newer anticoagulants

Psyllium Husk
Hi, had another flare up yesterday, after being reasonably ok for the last 3 weeks = I've really cleaned up my diet and yesterday was the result of a day out with friends, tea and cake and a slice of quiche. So difficult to find anything I actually enjoy eating at home, let alone at a restaurant.

Doctor, my knee hurts.
Weird title but will make sense. My baseline T is constant, resonates through my skull and is slowly finishing me off. Can't work and completely withdrawing from everything in my old life. Here's my question which consultants and Professors seem unable to answer, you guys seem to have more knowledge

Recently diagnosed
I was diagnosed about a month ago. I was hospitalized with bilateral PEs. I have been on eliquis since but my pulmonologist is putting me on warfarin which I read is what I should have been on. At my follow up with him yesterday, he said I was triple positive. I know I still need another round of testing
