Has anyone used the CBD Gummy Bears 10mg for sleep, mild pain relief etc. I am trying to find out any interactions with medication. They seem to be ok with Flecainide but cannot find anything to do with Apixaban. Found a slight caution with warfarin but not anything to do with the newer anticoagulants.
I know I can/should ask a pharmacist but wanted to know if anyone has any experience with them, good or bad.
Many thanks.

Hi Francis, we have a very knowledgeable health food shop owner locally (also a nurse).I asked about CBD generally and she said unfortunately she could not recommend if I was on any anticoagulant. The difficulty is that the possibility of any meaningful research is unlikely as funding will not be forthcoming.
I would love to try as it ticks so many boxes. Hey ho
Hi, as Bagrat said I too have seen it’s not great with anti-coagulants nor general bp meds I believe. From what I read long ago I seem to remember that cbd acts on the same “pathways” that grapefruit does.
Thanks Efka. Not on bp meds thankfully. Not on warfarin either and knew about grapefruit. Just wondered, hoped it wouldn’t interact with the newer anticoagulants.
I have chronic pain for many years and on teh highest dose of opiates possible. My pain consultant says the only thing left to try is CBD but he doesn't dare prescribe it quite simply because not enough research has been done into its effect on the heart.
Well I haven't seen him for 12 months and I'm due another appointment soon so I will be mentioning it again because my opiate is now only lasting 2 hours out of 3 and I can't walk at all when it wears off. Trouble is, since my last appt, I've developed an arrhythmia but I'm not on any anticoagulants; just aspirin. My son tried it while he was recently in the USA and said it did nothing at all.
I've taken the CBD gummies and I do believe it sometimes, but not always causes my heart rate to increase slightly, but I get the benefits of the pain relief. I am taking Diltiezem and Metropolol only, no prescription thinners. Nattokinase is my thinner of choice coupled with some Turmeric, Vitamin E and D3, thinners all.
SO if my HR is 78, after taking the CBD gummies it may rise to 85.
I've even taken the THC/CBD combo gummies. About the same but you DO get a small "high" affect, more if I take 2. Never has been an issue.
