2 year old toddler with Ataxia
She lost her ability to sit stand speak and developed
nystagmus
. This happened while we were on holiday. As the weather was very hot, doctors immediately put her on a drip. She is an extremely stubborn and fussy child so cried her eyes out 24 hours while the drip was on.

Would like to introduce myself
I have to wear special lenses in my glasses because of strabismus in one eye and
nystagmus
in the other, I call them my Prism sentence..lol. I am extremely photophobic and noise sensitive. I feel sounds now, yep that one is creepy. Oh, occipital seizures and migraines like nobodies business.

Is there medical help available? Had 2 strokes under 50 years of age and don’t know where to go from here.
Balance clinic after saw a
nystagmus
in my right eye and decided to do an MRI scan. MRI results took 6 months. GP said I had 2 strokes showing - 1 on each side of my brain. Sent me to the stroke clinic who did blood tests and MRI He said the strokes could have been anytime.

Neuro appt today - what's failing...don't know
The last couple of weeks, I've had more trouble with the
nystagmus
in my eyes so I finally booked an appt with my neuro for later this afternoon.

Interesting study about vision and balance
I struggle with
nystagmus
, balance and fatigue amongst other things. Last summer I decided to see if I could do something to improve my situation. I'm was tired of the falls and my right knee can't take another one.

Worst headaches ever
I have
nystagmus
, occasional tinnitus and high heart rate. Only the last few days I started seeing double. I’m nervous I’m going to drop dead with this. Or could it all be down to neuralgia? Any help very much appreciated.

Son’s wedding. I made it and I am so happy.
One day at the balance clinic they noticed
nystagmus
in my eye (remember James Galway on the flute with the wobbly eyes?) so sent me for an MRI scan.

EYES, EYESIGHT, VISION
An optician has said I don't have
nystagmus
but do have some tremor in there and may have some loss of blood supply, so recommending further specialist tests on my eyes. It's not pleasant what we go through, but so far the suggestion is it's all part of the FND.

New Rheumatologist, but where to now??
I also loose the ability to read as my eyes keep jumping about,
nystagmus
, they call it ,so I cant focus. This brain aspect, improves about 80percent within a day of the steroid injection and I become me again for a few weeks. The other symptoms improve only slightly.

Nystagmus
The worsening of my
nystagmus
has had an adverse effect on my balance. An eye examination suggested that prisms in glasses would not help and I had more or less resigned myself to accepting that nothing could be done.

Adult ADHD
My son is going to be 20, he's been diagnosised with ADHD at the age of 5, and congenital
Nystagmus
(horizontal eye movement). So both of those give the effect that every thing is moving very fast.

Really high TSH but normal T4 in bipolar. Help me understand please!
Hey guys, I just got my blood results from a test my shrink ordered because I started getting sporadic and very rare instances of
nystagmus
. Turns out my TSH Ultrasensitive came back a whopping 47.5 but my free T4 a rather pedestrian 1.08.

Child with cerebellar atrophy ataxia 💔
The last 3 years his been having tests, for ataxia,
nystagmus
amongst other things. His very wobbly and falls. We have just found out his brain scan shows cerebellar atrophy and my heart is broken. The plan is now to do some mitochondrial DNA gene panel tests, and a muscle biopsy.

Major head pain and tinnetis
My husband is an optometrist and saw her for
nystagmus
and thought it was a virus of the 8th cranial nerve! His suggestion was for her to go on an antiviral and steroids.
