Nuvaring

I wonder if anyone uses nonstop Nuvaring (contraceptive method) for endometriosis. That's what my gynecologist prescribed me, he said endometriosis will stop growing with this. Does anyone know if this actually works?Thanks

Nuvaring for 2 years prior. July 2023 - long day in the sun at the pool ended in an ER visit for high heart rate 150's after eating dinner and standing up. Hubby had recent SVG so I was freaked out by it a bit, hence the ER.

This has happened in the past with hormone changes (like adding birth control pills or Nuvaring - and I also get sick (more mild version) with my monthly cycle.

My twins were born april 2016. ive been on nuvaring since they were born. i decided to take it out 3 months ago, ive had 2 periods since then.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any success of having their menstrual migraines gone with the Nuvaring. I was informed that it was different than the pill form of birth control because it offers a steady dose of hormones.

Have had a phone call with my doctors again today re having something to try and help control my PCOS and they have also said to take a look into the NuvaRing so I wondered if anyone had any experience with this? Apparently side effects are meant to be one of the best options?

I tried several other pills and even the Nuvaring, but it only got better after quitting hormonal birth control. I am now a year pill-free (I'm 21 yo now) and the pain around my period is slowly returning, back to the point I can't function.

He found a chocolate cyst 5+cm and prescribed he Nuvaring to manage/control it.

Recently, I stopped having my period after coming off the Nuvaring. I didn’t have it for 4 1/2 months and than in Mid-June I started bleeding and didn’t stopped until 2 weeks ago. While I was bleeding I didn’t have any cramps and it didn’t feel like a period just bleeding.

I am in month #2 of the Nuvaring. My first period was much less flow, but actually much more painful and I still get pain pretty much every day, I have discharge with blood and quality of life is horrendous, I am always tired.

I just got back on the NuvaRing a couple days ago and am hoping that helps, but in the meantime, I'm scaring myself. Any tips or support are much appreciated.

I thought that maybe the pill could be a contributing factor, so I switched to the Nuvaring. Again, didn't get better. I am depressed and anxious throughout the whole month, but right before my period, it's the worse.

Since panic attacks started last July, I switched to another pill (didn't get better) and now am on the Nuvaring. Again, no improvement at all. I would like to hear your experiences/thoughts about this!

I was on NuvaRing for 9 days before I wad diagnosed with costochondritis. Since then I've still had back of calf pain, inner arm pain and chest pain that hasn't gone away for 5 months now. I've seen my doctor as well as had an xray and several blood tests done.

I'm not sure if I'm the only one who experiences this, in the past 6 months I've been on Marvelon, Nuvaring, loloestrin, and now Norlutate.

After recovering I was placed on NuvaRing, which worked to regulate the periods but I was still in lots of pain.

I came back 2 weeks later because the nuvaring caused an infection as well as cervical pain when it was in, I also developed chest pain which I went to the ER for and it had no known cause.

I am currently on the Nuvaring. Since about March 2015 (was on the ring then too and have been on it for like 3+years) I have been bleeding in-between changing my rings. I have cramps and pain and soreness. I don't get why I am bleeding. Once, I bled for a month straight!!

expelled i have to rinse the expelled NuvaRing and then place in my vaginal.Does this will have an effect on the efficency of the NuvaRing?
