Xtandi and sex
I'm looking to start Xtandi WITHOUT Lupron or its equivalents. My question is "does Xtandi destroy libido like Lupron?" Any user responses will be appreciated.

ADT+docetaxel first impressions, adding darolutamide
I had my first Lupron shot about 6 weeks ago. Started on chemo/docetaxel last week. My PSA went from 250 when diagnosed in early January to 1.8 before the chemo. I have a high volume bone metastasis. Can I still skip Lupron since the PSA is already within normal range? Are there other ways of administering

Working in person during COVID
Hi there, long time lurker, first time poster. Dx. 6/2021, Gleason Score 3 + 4 + 5 (Group 5), PSA 33. Started ADT: Firmagon, then Lupron + Zytiga; in Fall 2021 did EBRT and HDR Brachytherapy. I’ve been working from home for the last year+ and now being asked by our employer to go back in the office

Here we go again….
My Joe’s PSA has doubled again over the last three months….3.6. Still very low, but the second doubling in 6 months. He’s been on lupron since his chemo series in 2017. He added Zytiga in 2019 (PSA had gone back to 11) Recommendation now to re-do taxotere series (x 10 vs past x 6 doses), then add xtandi

PSA no longer undetectable. Now what?
I had a prostatectomy in 2017, radiation, and nearly 3 years of Lupron, with the last injection on 5/10/20. Other details are in my profile. PSA was undetectable for 2.5 years. Yesterday's draw shows that it's 0.032. I gather that I should wait for 3 consecutive monthly rises before moving to more

Lupron Shot Scheduling Question
Hello All, I greatly respect and appreciate everyone who posts on this forum. I have a mundane question I would appreciate thoughts on. My next 6 month Lupron shot would be due May 19. I am tied up that day. Is there a limit on how far in advance of the exact 6 month date you can get your shot paid

PSA up after one month on Xtandi
My husband has been taking Zytiga, Lupron, Xgeva and prednisone for two years. The combination worked well with only a few side effects (fatigue and hot flashes), and his PSA became undectable within a few months. When his PSA started going up, his doctor stopped the Zytiga and prednisone and added

What next?
I was d/x with stage 4 PCA in March 2020, Gleason 7 (4+3) with lymph node Mets and a PSA of 172 (see profile). How is PSMA PET scan being used in your experience?
PSMA PET scans are not yet available in my area. My MO and I have been in discussions on the use of PSMA versus the FDG PET I currently get. Have extensive metastatic disease in my left pleura, nodes in my mediastinum and along the aorta. To date no skeletal lesions but one area of suspicion. My MO

Zytiga vs Xtandi
November of 2020 PSA was noted at 4.5. 6 months later it was 32 then quickly up to 46. Biopsy graded out at GL9. PSMA found metastasis on the sacrum and multiple lymph nodes in pelvic and abdominal area. Started Lupron in October and radiation therapy in January 2022. One oncologist likes Zytiga over

Orgovyx vs Lupron
Can anyone point me to studies comparing the two for cardiac effects ? After 3 years on Lupron/Zytiga with undetectable PSA and otherwise doing well, I've developed atrial fibrillation. My MO is not giving me much guidance on the subject so a switch is strictly up to the patient.

Per my history (summary), I was stage 4 with spread to my bladder neck and at least two lymph nodes. I have been on lupron for two years and keytruda for 22 months. My oncologist had done another genomic test via a blood draw a few weeks ago. We discussed the results today. Since there were no genetic
