Lasting Degarelix reaction

Can there be tissue swelling around the injection site from degarelix 5 plus weeks from the initial injection? This was 5 weeks ago with a Lupron injection last week. Only reaction to the Lupron so far was itching.

Perhaps using a topical benadryl gel on the injection site. Some people have anaphylactic to the carriers used for the injections, and an antihistamine like Claritin may help. You may have to switch to Orgovyx pills.

When I was getting injections of Firmagon (now on Relugolix - oral) it would form a hard mass below the skin and took weeks to finally dissolve. It was really irritating. That's the reason I switched.

I had days of redness and soreness from my Degarelix injections, and I'm just losing my small lumps from eight weeks ago. I switched to Orgovyx for this reason.
