Failing nubequa mono therapy
when Nubeua monotherapy begins to fail what to do next. Wasn’t doing too good with lupron before Nubeua stopped extending because of side effects. Thinking of adding relugolix to Nubeua because it’s more effective than Lipton or just start relugolix for one month followed by one month of Lipton to see

Paying for Lupron and Abiterone
New Medicare recipient with metastasized prostate cancer needs to choose Part D prescription plan. Research so far shows cost of these meds is unaffordable even with the plans that are available. Anybody know of any government or other assistance with the costs ? Thanks in advance

I just got another Lupron shot on Friday the 9th. The injection site always always is sore for a couple of days, but this time by day three i was having severe pain in known locations for mets. Throchanter, pelvis, sacriliac all had sever pain, but only on the left side. I have mets on the right side

looking for treatment advice
Hello All, I am reading so much about LU-177 and immunotherapy. But I am wondering when we would start looking into these treatments. Husband is on Abiraterone, Prednisone and monthly Lupron shots. He completed 6 docetaxel treatments in April. PSA has slowly gone from almost 7000 to 4 since last diagnosis

Using transdermal E2
Ronron's posts about using E2 instead of ADT have been interesting. Who else has used? If so: 1. Has anyone switched from using Lupron (or any 1st or 2nd level ADT, such as Firmagon, abiraterone, etc.) directly to transdermal E2? 2. Has anyone who has used it eventually become castrate resistant

18 months later.
I started on lupron 03/21. When i started my psa was 46.5 after 3 months it went to 0.02. I've also been on bicalumide 50mg daily. Today lab work and going for lupron #7 my psa was 1.70. My OC took me off bicalumide and wants me back in 6 weeks for lab. If psa is down we are good if not it's CT and BONE

Gleason 6 but Metastatic
Dx in June 2022. Biopsy sampled 11 cores, with one coming back at 5% 3+3 and Gleason 6. But because PSA was 20.5, was eligible for PET PSMA scan, which showed avidity in bones, so now M1B. Have started ADT - lupron + darolutamide (arasec trial, open label). My question for the group is - what

Surgical Option . Each option has no guarantees
I was diagnosed with aggressive PC in Oct 2014. My urologist said his uncles used the seeds. My decision was to have the surgery in January 2005. I went to Dr Patel in Orlando Fl as he had performed over 7000 of these. My experience was excellent , however 3 months later PSA was detected and began

Game Plan
Looks like I have a game plan with the Stephenson Cancer Center at the University of Oklahoma. Lupron treatment( hormone therapy). MRI/CT Scan one week before SRBT radiation treatment. SRBT radiation treatment (imaging guided and 5 visits). Does not include the visit for the placement of the markers

PET PSMA scan and low PSA and Lurpon
Will a PET PSMA scan still essentially function as well to find out where PC lesions exist if one's PSA is low say <1, because of Lupron? Lets say the PSA without Lupron might be a 10, (also no prostatectomy was ever performed.) My radiologist wants me to get the scan so I can then get set up for

PSA wall
PSA disappeared for three years after initial RP and prostate bed radiation. It rose to .4 last year. PSMA images showed two avid lymph nodes in pelvis. Transdermal E2 Gel (tE2) As An Alternative To Lupron
Many of you have been asking if the tE2 gel that I've been using for four and a half years now will help eliminate hot flashes/flushes and the all too common side effects of Lupon injections? I thought that I answered those questions in my many trimonthly blood test results. When everything else failed

My Hair Grew Back!
On Lupron, and after 3 months, the hair on my head started to grow and fill in! Radiation Nurse says strange hair things happen now and then, like hair of a different color. He says it does not necessarily revert back. I am happy about the hair growth!

Pain in side
About five months after beginning Lupron, Zytiga, and Prednisone, I began having pain in my right side. I've been to my oncologist, GP, and a surgeon. All have run blood work, CT scan, MRI, bone scan, and Xrays. Thought it might be a hernia, but not. It can get pretty severe at times, but does come
