Just joined the group. Asthma treatment: one size fits most?
Now I have read about the new biologics (Xolair,
Nucala
) that treat, with dramatic results, eosinophilic asthma. The trouble is, they cost $2,500 to $3,000 per month for life! What I fail to understand from the literature is whether asthma is an either/or?

Xolair, Dupixent, Nucala or Fasenra?
I have read some posts that Xolair and
Nucala
did nothing while others saw great improvements. Please share your experience with these drugs good and bad. Like many of you I am sensitive to many medications and definitely don't want full body hives! Thank you!!!

Is nucala approved as an egpa treatment in Europe
I am wondering if
nucala
is approved as a treatment for egpa in the UK? It was approved in dec 2017 in the United States, but in Canada my new doctor tells me it is only approved as a treatment for asthma at 100 mg and not approved as a treatment for egpa which would require 300 mg.

Anybody on Xolair or Mepolizumab interested in answering some market research questions and paid 80 pounds
On Monday I went to lo London to answer some questions about being Mepolizumab (
nucAla
). It was for a company called Exafield . I did about an hour of homework before hand which consisted answering a few questions and showing a picture as examples , there are no right or wrong answers .

Eosinophilic Asthma
I go once a month for a biological shot called
Nucala
. This has helped me immensely! I also take Breo inhaler.
Nucala
injections are very costly but I am fortunate that Medicare and my supplement Plan G cover the cost. Thank you for letting me share my story!

Switching from Xolair to Nucala
Has anyone switched from Xolair to
Nucala
and noticed a considerable change in their allergies? I have allergic asthma, but the Xolair wasn't working anymore, so I switched to
Nucala
which is helping my asthma but my allergies are horrible now. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Mepolizumab / Nucala ... fatigue?
Hi to any folks taking this. How long until you noticed a difference? I had my second jab a couple of weeks ago after getting worse on Xolair and am now wrestling with myself whether to take a course of oral steroids. Don't want to, but symptoms have flared up again these past few days. Initially

My specialist consultant has suggested
Nucala
and medically I qualify for it, he’s taking my case to panel this month. I was wondering if anyone here has started it. I know it’s a very new drug. Thanks for your time xx

New injection Mepolizumab (Nucala)
Hi All, I started on the new injection today Mepolizumab (
Nucala
), they stopped the Omalizumab (Xolair) in March, I was lucky not to have any exacerbations while not having the jabs, so I hope this is going to give me some relief and normality back.

MEPOLIZUMAB
Hi Does anyone know what is happening with Mepolizumab (trade name
Nucala
)? I think it was rejected by NHS for England but approved for Scotland. Is there anymore meetings etc or information on it. I am desperate.

Still waiting on approval for Nucala
My pulmonologist thinks I would be a good candidate for
Nucala
, but I've been waiting for nearly 3 months for financial assistance approval for the injections. Where I'm at, it's a little over $3000/month and that is more than my income!
