Nucala

Is there anybody who switched from Nucala to Fasenra? What about any side effects from Fasenra? I would greatly appreciate your posting any experiences.

I have now been put on to nucala (mepolizumab injections). Does this now mean I have severe asthma.

I am currently on Nucala injection and it helped a lot in the beginning ( been on it for a year) but I still have trouble walking( can't breathe) and I sweat so much even in cooler weather. I take Trimbow twice a day before I was on Foster air. Plus ventolin when needed.

After 9 months on nucala this significantly improved x although he still sufferers with joint x muscle pain his mobility has improved.

Anyone else on Nucala plus anther biologic? I am already self-administering Benepali (etanercept) injections weekly for rheumatoid arthritis and have now also been prescribed Nucala injections every 4 weeks for my asthma. Just wondering if anyone has experience of 2 biologics concurrently?

Hi guys I’ve been on Nucala for best part of a year now. Great results. But when I take my injection I am so tired the first day or so. Is this normal everything else is going well.

Just about to have my 3rd Nucala injection but after the 2nd where I notice a big difference in my chest, my less coughing, breathing easier and reduced use of inhalers, I have developed an itch all over spoke to the chemist who thought it might be to do with the immune system being suppressed.

Even with nucala injections every 4 weeks. I had churg Strauss syndrome. And still on 11 drugs to get by. Every day. Including heart drugs. But still can't get PIP. Even though I would probably die before someone with a bit of arthritis who gets it..

I know this is a shot in the dark but has anyone experienced hallucinations with Nucala?

So I am going to take Nucala starting next week Feb 20th 2024. My alopecia is worst and wondering if this is anything to do with Fasenra. Will see if hair regrow after taking Nucala.

On Friday I'm due to have my 6th Nucala injection. The first 3 have been amazing. I felt a new person after battling with Eosinophilic Asthma. After my 4th & 5th I have not felt quite so good and now 'doubt' is beginning to creep in. I notice occasional back pain and aching in some joints.

In the US the brand name is Nucala, here it’s Mepolizumab.

My Pulmonologist has recommended taking me off the Nucala and putting me on Dupixent. Has anyone made this change and if so did your asthma and coughing improve? Thank you so much!

After a rather painful 1st injection in my thigh, I was full of trepidation yesterday having the 2nd but I need not have worried...it was painless🙃! This time I chose my arm and the difference was unbelievable. I can't help wondering why?

Good morning....has anyone that uses Nucala experienced joint pain? I had the first injection last Friday and today I am noticing I have joints :( I would welcome your comments please.

Well today is a momentous day here. Have just received my Biologics for Eosinophilic asthma. Suddenly I feel extremely nervous. My first injection is due on Friday. I am shocked at how I am feeling...is this natural?

I've had my second nucala injection and not really feeling any better still struggling to walk . i was just wondering if anybody else is on nucala and if so how long before seeing any difference.
