I have adult onset severe eosinophilic asthma, vocal chord dysfunction. and chronic bronchitis. I have never smoked yet my airways are hypersensitive. I was never controlled until my specialist tested my blood and I began Nucala injections..

Hey Quacklong!

I was sent to Vanderbilt by my Pulmonologist due to lack of control of my asthma. He tested my eosinophil count and my IGE. Both were elevated so they are seeking approval for NUCALA.

Please share with me how you've done on NUCALA and how long it took for you to respond to it. How long did it take to get approval?

Anxious to hear your reply. Although it hasn't been approved yet I have my first three injections scheduled starting the middle of March.

I apologize for never responding. I LOVE NUCALA! I feel like I have gotten my life back. My insurance just approved the self injectable pin so it is also more convenient. I hope you have seen a improvement. Please let me know how you have done and if you are still taking it.

I'm am curious about this too, am sick now with what started as a cold, developed into bronchitis and triggered a severe asthma flare. It's messed with my vocal cords immensely and am very ill, I started predisone and arithromax today. But having to do 4 nebulizer treatment a day just to breathe. NOT FUN! It's exhausting for me.
