SARA day - Royal Brompton

Hi guys,

Just thought I’d let you all know about my day at the Brompton.

It was amazing !

I had every test in the world - lung function test? Skin prick allergy test, DexA scan, bloods, Physio, asthma nurse and seen by the docs and finally the professor.

I have a diagnosis !

eosinophilic asthma - going to be starting Mepolizumab ( nucala) injections monthly in about 8 weeks once the funding application has gone through.

Anyone here got this diagnosis or had / having this treatment ?
