teenage bedwetting
I would encourage any teens that are still bedwetting to have a complete urodynamic test run. I didn’t have this done until age 30 but discovered I had a neurogenic bladder and from my history probably since birth. That completely explained my incontinence issues. Would have loved to know this earlier

Hypoxic brain injury update
Hi all My brother was admitted to hospital having been found unconscious (potentially for several hours) with 54% bloody oxygen which I understand is extremely low. He has now been in hospital 12 days. He has been in a coma, and they have started reducing the medication to try and bring him round,

Latest update on son
Hi all, some good news & some bad. First bad news - since my last post son has had further problems following catheter insertion error. He had quite a lot of bleeding & discharge which resulted in a 14 hour stint in A & E & urgent follow up referral with urology. Falsepassage way error had resulted

Link between ibs and bladder problems
Hi. Just wondering whether anyone else has noticed a link between their ibs and urinary urgency/incontinence. I struggle with a lot of bloating/wind and also have issues with needing to rush for a wee urgently sometimes, and sometimes not making it in time. Also my ibs, which I have had for years was

Hello all, wondering if anyone has any kind of feedback on DHIVY? I’m taking two carbidopa levodopa at 25/100 and the tremors are much much worse and stiffness is worse as well. I can’t take any more than two a day because my gut will not take it and the pain in my stomach becomes much much worse as

is it common to be conscious at time you get head injury?
I was in a car accident in 2012 leading to me having serious head injury. I have never been able to remember the accident so I guessed I was unconscious through it. I remember driving along the motorway which is where the accident happened so I guessed I remembered most of the time I was conscious.

3 years later
I know it's 3 years later but I wanted to write this in case someone needed to see. This thread helped me so much when my dad was in the ICU on a ventilator. When they took my dad off of sedation he didn't wake up right away. He is a peritoneal dialysis patient and drugs leave his system much slower.

Final stages of CBD
Hi all My dad is in the final stages of CBD and in fact the Palliative Care Consultant seems to think we have less than 3 months left with him. I am really really struggling with this and can't bear the thought of not having my dad but this illness is the cruellest illness I have ever encountered.

Continuing Healthcare Farce
We have just been declined for CHC funding for my dad who has advanced stage CBD. Apparently he does not meet the health criteria!! He is on lots of medication which my mum administers. He is at home with carers coming in 4 times a day to do all the personal care and has a visit from the District Nurses

Just an update on my wife (Jackie, diagnosed since 29th Jan 23) and her PSP path, she had a visit from the Speech and Language therapy team yesterday and it's not good. She's struggling with food, she'd said that food wasn't going down. So they tried her with a sandwich and she couldn't clear it after
