Reassessment head injury

Bit worried as gp and physio say need re assement as not getting better after head injury to get reassessment but worried about seeing neurologist and what assemsent might look especially over zoom what that look like and my memory quite bad if he ask about that?

Can you have someone with you?

Perhaps write down symptoms ahead of time, though ask to see what your gp sent - he may have already described it all.

Did your gp or physio say what the goal was?

They may have asked for further testing to rule things out.

For example I had a test for epilepsy and a few other things a year or two in.

It's fair to ask them before you have the appointment.

Try not to worry about it.

when I attended my review my partner cane with me, we chatted beforehand and he wrote everything down, all my symptoms and concerns.

Yep that's also a good idea, I forgot this happened to me also someone came with me to an appointment and explained how much I had changed from what I used to be.

Thanks for all your helpful advice! Doing your suggestions helped alot with writing things down and Had someone with me for appt and who remembered the accident... which was good was his first question(s)! it was pretty heavy going and still processing but hopefully things now moving forward slowly towards recovery and some more tests to assess things where are up to now to know where I stand as things not as good as expected detailed memory tests, re scans and things.... as bit worried about my ammensia and onesided weakness still being bad. thanks again!
