Down reg blues
I’ve just finished my third week of buserelin and my second 7-day course of
norethisterone
within that time and I don’t know what to do with myself. My mood swings are out of control. I can’t stop crying all day. I’ve got zero energy whereas before you couldn’t get me off my spin bike!

Norethisterone and Low Mood
Just a quick question, this is my first IVF cycle and am on day 20 of taking
Norethisterone
(5 days to go). Is there any association with taking it and low mood? I feel the last week or so I’ve felt really down. Could be a combination of things mind, this journey is so emotionally taxing anyway.

Buserelin and periods
I started
norethisterone
on cd19 and my bleeding stopped within 24hrs which I thought was great, and started buserelin on cd21. Fast track eight days later,
norethisterone
is finished, my period has started and it is crippling me. I can’t leave the house.

Finished norethisterone today after been on it for 1 year 6 months straight!
I need some advice from someone that was on this tablet for this long or longer please and what they went though once they ended the tablets? Also when they started the withdrawal bleed and how long it lasted for please? I am abit worried and anxious about this as I've been on the pills for 1 year 6

Cancelled cycle - over developed follicle?
We've been told that if my wife either goes on the pill or she takes
norethisterone
(is that the right spelling?!) then this will prevent this happening the next time.

No period norethisterone
I don't take a regular period, for my ivf cycle I was given 7 days of
norethisterone
. I was told I would bleed withing 5 days if stopping. Has anyone took this medication and not had a bleed after?

Feel like a failure
I don’t know if it’s the start of my withdrawal bleed after being on
norethisterone
, that I’m 35 on Friday and I’ve been going through this for 3 long years. I just feel so stressed. I keep comparing myself to others and I feel so inadequate. I’m so sorry it’s such a negative post. Xxx

Stims
Hi everyone, just finished taking
Norethisterone
. I will start with Ovaleap from day 2 of my period, following on day 4 Meriofert and Cetrotide. I planned to take the injections evening times, just wonder if I should take them on a specific order, can be taken at same time!?

3rd cycle
I have started taking the
norethisterone
tablets. They have increased my stimms on Gonal f this time to hopfully get more eggs. I got as far as transfer last time but it didn't result in pregnancy unfortunately. I feel pretty chilled at times and I'm trying not to think about any negative thoughts.

Ovarian cyst and FET
Took my
norethisterone
for 8 days then went for my baseline scan 3days after bleeding. A 2.6cm follicle or cyst was seen on my ovary and my endometrium was 5mm. I’m going for a re-scan on Monday. What are the chances of my FET going ahead? What are others experiences? Thanks xx

norethisterone not working
Hi everyone, I got put on
norethisterone
earlier this month 3 times daily to slow me down since I've been suffering heavy bleeding since December last year but they just don't seem to work :(. I'm at the end of my tether with my periods & the agonising pain that comes with it -_-.

Updates on ovaries and floppy nose
For background, had ovarian cysts and enlarged ovary. Been having endometriosis type symptoms and pain as well. Saw Gyn last week. Started progestin only birth control - low dose norethindrone. I must say, it makes me feel a lot better. My sleep feels more restful and I feel like I have a little more

HRT compounds and hair loss
The first hrt prescribed to me to treat hair loss, was
norethisterone
based. Unfortunately, it scarred my scalp.
Norethisterone
is an androgen based compound so if your scalp is sensitive to testosterone. It will not increase or cause your hair loss.

Norethisterone LDR
so like a milder long down reg cycle with
norethisterone
instead of a GNRH. If so, what dose
norethisterone
did you use?

Letrozole
I was given
norethisterone
to start a period as i hadn't had one in over 6 months and then given 5mg of Letrozole to take on days 3-7. Currently on CD 12 and taken my first lot of Letrozole as planned. I just wondered if anyone had any success with it?

I've been prescribed 10 days of
Norethisterone
, and need to book in for another scan when i have bled, so about another 3 weeks. Has anybody been through similar? Did the induced bleed work to bring down the lining?

Cyst & Norethisterone
The clinic have prescribed
Norethisterone
tablets from day 14 to help flush it out, then another scan on day 20 and hopefully start Buserelin on day 21. Does anyone have experience of taking this to help get rid of a cyst and was it successful?
