Hi Everyone I have an appointment with my gynaecologist this evening and in my head i feel its doomsday. I am on the mini pill at the moment. I feel its not working. My next option is Zoladex but i really don't want to go on that. But i don't know if there are any options after that other than a hysterectomy

Coming off Zoladex?
Hi there, I'm stopping my Zoladex injections because they have caused me to get much worse instead of better. Does anyone know what the side effects are of stopping the injections?

Total LAVH hysterectomy with adhesiolysis - still in pain
Hi. I hope someone can help me. I had decades of pelvic pain which was helped by my taking the combined pill in my 20s (not allowed it post 30 due to migraines....). I had several pelvic ultrasound scans which didn't show anything untoward and a laparoscopy in 2007 which showed no signs of endometriosis

Here we go again
I'm new to this forum but I'm afraid not new to this disease. I just need a little advice really. I've had this disease for 20 years but was only diagnosed in 2004. I was put on the pill with little effect and then went on to zoladex implants for 6 months with again little effect. After phoning the consultant

Hi girls, Hope everyone is having a good pain free day! I'm having a really bad day today, I've been suffering with severe daily pain since my lap last November, I've now been bumped up to oramorph on my worst days and am about to lose my job. I started zoladex 3 weeks ago but still have no pain relief

Starting Zoladex treatment and need advice!!
Hi girls, I'm new to this blog and up until now I think I have dealt with my endo pretty well - minus the pain. I'm 24 and was diagnosed with endo when I was 22. It took so long and a lot of internal scans and smears to get there but they finally books me in for a lap op! They found endo and an endo

Bleeding after finishing zoladex
How long can I expect it to take for me to have a period once I have my last zoladex injection? I'm intending to have 4 monthly injections before starting our next cycle of IVF. I've been told I will then need to have a bleed and then start my short protocol meds. It would be helpful to have any guidance

Zoladex and diaorreah
Hi All, after being so complacent about hardly having any side effects from my first Zoladex injection 2 weeks ago, yesterday at work I started getting stomach pains and back pain like I do when I'm on my period (obviously not bleeding at the moment though). I left work but by the time I got to my house

Zoladex side effects
Had my first Zoladex injection about 10 days ago and mostly feeling fine so far apart from a constant dull headache, which I control with painkillers. But today I have had really shaky hands and limbs and a general feeling of being off-balance. No dizziness as such though. Shakiness isn't listed as

Zoladex reaction normal or scary?
Hi all, I've been on Zoladex for about two months now in an attempt to clear up my endo. I didn't have a surgery beforehand, just began the injections on their own. My doctor told me that I may get worse before I get better, but wow. I feel like I have gotten progressively ten times worse over the past

1 Year since I found a lump.
This time last year I found a lump at the age of 36. We had just moved house and area, and had 2 children age 2 and 6. Very soon I was told I had beat cancer. This was a huge shock. Mum had had it age 45 and now it had got me. I had 3 lymph nodes removed and it was in 1 and just starting to affect the

Being sent to home country because too sick? Help, please!
I have suffered from severe chronic pain for almost 10 years. And I am only 22. Right now I am in medically induced menopause (Zoladex injections) in an attempt to clear up what my specialist believes is endometriosis. In the last 18 months, I have had little or no quality of life. I am vomiting constantly
