Coming off Zoladex?

Hi there,

I'm stopping my Zoladex injections because they have caused me to get much worse instead of better. Does anyone know what the side effects are of stopping the injections?

I was getting zoladex injections and, like you, was getting worse instead of better. I stopped the injections (it's now 4 weeks since the last one was due) and i have had no side effects from stopping them. My pain is no worse, but no better but the side effects of the injections have gone. My worst thing was aching bones and joints. This resolved within two weeks of stopping the injections. I had a laparoscopy on Thursday and had two large nodules of endo removed from my uterosacral ligaments as well as loads of spots of endometriosis removed. Although I am sore from the op I do feel much better already. The injections do not seem to work for everyone. Hope you find something that works for you and feel a bit better soon. x
