Zoladex and HRT advice/experience please
Hi, I'm just wondering if others could help with experience of this as I'm on zoladex for 3 months cold turkey then livial HRT is added at my 3rd injection but as this is to treat an endometrioma & severe sciatica, back & hip pain too (which seems to be starting to respond a little) if the HRT is added

Seeking support
Hi This is my first time joining the forum and your stories really reached out to me and the reasons why I wanted to be a part of this group. Similar to a lot of you,I have always been told I am either too young or just someone who 'can not handle bad period pains'. I will share with you a little

Treatment experiences, help!!
Hi all, I got diagnosed with endometriosis in march 2015, after over 4 long years of suffering and various GPs and consultants not believing me! I had my lap and had the endo ablated, whilst it wasn't a high grade my symptoms were awful. I've had a good year without symptoms and now they're back 😩

Zoladex pre surgery
My bsge centre told me I needed 12 weeks of zoladex before my next surgery. After much faffing around and refusing to start me on it, they rang me yesterday and told me to get my GP to start me on it on the 6th of January (which would give me 10 weeks on it before my surgery date). They rang me again

It's wasn't all in my head!
Hi guys, Bit of a random post but it's a happy one from me (for once). I am currently 12 days post op (from my 4th laparoscopy - 3rd lap which included removal of endo - as i was told at my 1st lap there was nothing there). My surgery ran over and I was down for some time (between 3.5 - 4 hours), so

Have my date for hyst at bsge centre
It is sooner than I had expected, but it will be a relief to have it over and done with. I am also having my ovaries removed, plus excision of the extensive disease everywhere else. Bit worried about the fallout afterwards, but I'm so tired of the constant bowel cramping and the pain and the bleeding

Hi I had my lap in June to remove endo which was found on my uterosacral ligaments and a mirena coil was inserted. Unfortunately I'm still experiencing the same pain (Pelvic pain, abdominal pain and bloating) I went back again to see my gynaecologist at the local bsge centre and as I have had problems

A referral to BGSE accredited centre is a must !
I have struggled for over 8 years to get a diagnosis and to receive any appropriate treatment. I have been treated for IBS and made to feel like I have been wasting G.Ps time for far too long. Finally I got my diagnosis in March this year following Laparoscopy, I was informed I have many adhesions sticking

Zoladex
Hi everyone, I'm new here. I've had surgery last week. I have stage 4 endometriosis and had a 8cm cyst on my right ovary and a 5cm cyst on my left ovary. They removed everything and also cleared my fallopian tubes. About 3 weeks before the surgery, i had my first Zoladex injection. This really helped

...... after 8 years !!!
Following my diagnostic lap in March I was told by general Gynaecology that as my bowel, uterus and POD where all stuck together there was nothing they could do as surgery was too dangerous. I was offered Zoladex for 3 months to see if his eased my symptoms. With guidance and support from several ladies

pain responding to HRT after hysterectomy with removal of ovaries tubes and cervix
Hi all can anyone offer any advice or help. I'm 8 weeks post hysterectomy as above. I was on zoladex for 2 years was going ok but they wanted to withdraw the injections following a lap that showed no endo??? The hysterectomy puts me in the same situation as the injections regarding bones / osteoporosis

Follow up appts at BSGE centre
I had a lap at a BSGE centre 2 weeks ago. Everything was fine, my recovery has been easy. They removed a small amount of endo from my bladder and drained a cyst on my left ovary, but the majority of my endo was left in place as I have very extensive disease on my bowel and the plan is to excise it all

Options for post-Zoladex treatment?
Hi there. I was diagnosed with endo in April after a laparoscopy for suspected appendicitis (which turned out to be endo). I have since completed a 6 month treatment plan of Zoladex and Tibalone. Upon completion, my consultant prescribed the Pill (Microgynon) to be taken on a 3 month consecutive cycle

Advice needed! Lap in 11 days - more worried about them not finding anything & feeling like this for the rest of my life!
Hi all, I apologise in advance for this massive rant but I'm hoping that someone could give me some advice. I've had 2 laproscopies in the past to remove endometriosis (last one 2 years ago). I have also been on most contraceptive pills, the depo injection, the mirena coil (5 times in 2 years!) and
