Options for post-Zoladex treatment?

Hi there.

I was diagnosed with endo in April after a laparoscopy for suspected appendicitis (which turned out to be endo). I have since completed a 6 month treatment plan of Zoladex and Tibalone.

Upon completion, my consultant prescribed the Pill (Microgynon) to be taken on a 3 month consecutive cycle (1x 7 day break every 3 months). Unfortunately, the pill has severely exacerbated my depression and after persevering for 1 month and 1 week, I have stopped taking the pill. Since the age of 18 I have trialled every available pill from a contraceptive point of view but each gave me terrible depression (which is managed with 100mg sertraline for the past 10 years). My GP is unsure what to prescribe and so has re-referred me back to the consultant (who discharged me back to my GP in October with a treatment plan for Microgynon).

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, does anyone have any suggestions for treatment options that aren't the Pill? I'm 29 and do not wish to begin trying for a baby for another 12 months. The treatment options suggested so far make me feel as though I have to choose between my physical and mental health.

Any advice would be greatly received.

Thank you in advance

I'm trying Mirena at the moment and haven't had any side effects apart from constant bleeding/spotting but it's been 4 months and I've been asked to give it 6 months to settle X
