Have my date for hyst at bsge centre

It is sooner than I had expected, but it will be a relief to have it over and done with. I am also having my ovaries removed, plus excision of the extensive disease everywhere else. Bit worried about the fallout afterwards, but I'm so tired of the constant bowel cramping and the pain and the bleeding and the anxiety. Unfortunately after fannying around for the past 5 weeks refusing to change me to Zoladex (because they told me I had to have it for exactly 12 weeks prior to surgery) they've now given me dates which only allow for 10 weeks of zoladex. Go figure. But I'm looking forward to feeling better.

So sorry that you are going through this, but it's so good that you're seeing the positive and finally you can be at peace and comfort with yourself! Best of luck xx

Best of luck for the op and remember to be kind to yourself after as it's a long recovery and you mustn't lift anything heavy for the first few weeks. To be honest you won't be able to but do take care.

The hysterectomy associations website is really useful so take a look at all the info there.

Glad you are having the operation soon! Hopefully you will feel much better afterwards. Take care of yourself and take it easy.
