So I got so fed up of being fobbed off I booked a private Ultrasound this Sunday!
So I’m still no better.. 6 months on! My left side is massive! Emptying my bowels makes me want to throw up! Plagued by more rashes! Lost more weight! Not good! God I feel like I’m dying. Anyway, I self medicated antibiotics and felt great, then slowly, again, symptoms returned! No idea what you’re supposed

Zoladex and Tibolone
Hi everyone! I’ve (finally!) been offered a different treatment for my endometriosis! They won’t do another lap because I had one 4 years ago and they said there’s a risk of scarring and making it worse (please let me know if that’s true!). They have offered me Zoladex and tibolone and gave me a leaflet

Does taking HRT reduce the side effects from Zoladex?
Hi, I'm thinking about starting Zoladex to manage my endometriosis pain but I'm worried about the side effects such as depression and anxiety. I'm 46 and have severe endo so am close to menopause. I've been told that taking HRT alongside Zoladex reduces some side effects. I'm wondering if anyone has

Zoladex side effects
Hi all, Just wondering for those that have had Zoladex, how long was it until you started experiencing side effects. I only had my first one just over a week ago, but I swear I’m starting with hot flushes and sweats, along with headaches. Just curious as to what everyone else’s experiences were and

GP surgery not scheduling my Zoladex injection
I was on Zoladex for three months in 2017 and I had a private gynaecology appointment recently and the consultant said that I need to have Zoladex again for four months. I have been ringing my GP surgery for the last two weeks and every time I do they keep saying there are no slots and to ring again

Is olive oil bad if under androgen deprivation treatment?
Good day to all, my father is under zoladex and we just had spaghetti that has a generous amount of pure olive oil, not the extra virgin one, so it just made me curious if this could be bad or could it be good? Thanks a lot

The NHS is just dire
So, I phoned the hospital today! Spoke to some woman filling in for my consultants secretary! Explained that I started my period a week last Wednesday, which put me on my arse! My ovary felt like it was going to explode!... And now I’m subsequently getting sicker! This was the response I got! 1) she

TPOAb 700
Hello 👋 I recently had some tests done due to starting fertility treatment and found that my TSH level was 4.4 which is within the normal range but too high for IVF. Six weeks later I’ve had two further blood tests with TSH at 19 and now 24.4. What’s worrying me is my TPOAb are over 700. My doctor

Has anyone tried ZOLADEX injections?
Hiya everyone. Hope everyone is well. I am still awaiting my laparoscopy, due to Covid no date on the horizon. In the meantime my surgeon has suggested I try zoladex injections. He’s told me to do some research and get back to him. Has anyone tried this route and if so I’d be grateful to hear your opinions

Needing advice about intense pain
I have had endometriosis symptoms since I began my period at 12 years old. They were heavy and unbelievably painful - in 2017 they made me unable to walk as pain travelled right down my leg. With no other reason causing the severe pain I was adamant it was endometriosis. In 2018 after laproscapy I was

Zoladex and Mirena question? Need help.
Okay so I’ve been on zoladex for two years awaiting a hysterectomy but due to covid the waiting list is so long they have taken me off the zoladex as the gynae doesn’t want me on it any more. So I had a Mirena fitted a week ago with the hope it will keep my periods away. My next zoladex would have been

Zoladex and endometriosis.
Hi , I had my first Zoladex injection on 23rd February and I’m due my second next week. I began having a severe flare up of my endo around week two. I ended up vomiting quite a bit and being admitted to hospital. Gynaecologist in hospital explained I had severe flare up of pain and severely dehydrated
