Life after my hysterectomy
Hi Just wanted to share my journey after having my hysterectomy in January this year, after suffering for years with adenomyosis and endometriosis, multiple surgeries. At the age of 27 it was a big decision but I knew I wanted my life back. Was on zoladex for 6 months before my op along with Hrt seemed

Swollen feet and ankles
Hello again friends. I am recieving Zoladex once a month. Over the past 3 or 4 months I have been suffering from swollen feet and ankles. Pressure on the área leaves a deep impression. My creatonine levels were normal in a recent blood test. Any thoughts on possible cause?

Trimodal Therapy
G9, PSA13 no met. Tolerating Zoladex ok. Start IMRT July to include pelvis and lymph nodes. Followed by LD brachy based on confirmatory TRUS. I can see no advantage to SBRT over IMRT? Clinic does not do MRI !! (Canada healthcare system). I will get privately and provide for OAR boundary definition. Dr

Follow on from my previous post about not relying on Drs and diagnosis’s and suppressing your own endo!
So I had my follow-up brought forward. So back story in 2016 I had extensive surgery! It was my first and it was major surgery because I never even realised I had Endo! My symptoms were never cyclic, they was constant! They never waxed, nor waned. So following the sepsis I was told multiple things while

ZOLADEX, to shrink Endometrioma
Hi I was admitted into hospital this week when I started contracting every 15minutes. Drs were confused as I have no uterus. I had an MRI which shows a 5cm endometrioma on my right ovary. Yesterday my consultant offered me zoladex or depo and said it would shrink the endometrioma. After my rough experience

Zoladex + Bicalutamide
My PSA is rising in very small steps at the moment and although Zoladex is still doing the job, this will not always be the case. Why are cardiac effects different for GnRH agonists and antagonists?
I've always been troubled by the observation that GnRH agonists (like Lupron, Gosarelix, Zoladex, and Triptorelin) had a high risk of cardiotoxicity while GnRH antagonists (Firmagon and Orgovyx) did not. Why should they be different if they both lower testosterone? This RCT offers a good explanation.

Zoladex
Hi everyone, I’ve so far had minimal side effects from Zoladex injections, however, had my fourth one two days ago and haven’t felt well since. Vomiting, nausea, dizziness and headaches. I don’t want to contact GP because I’ve been doing so well. Anyone any advice ?

Zoladex side effects
I have the Zoladex injection and I have experienced painful ovulation (headache, cramps, sore lower back) that I never had before. Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Zoladex and mirena removal - blood loss?
I wonder if anyone has any experience of this. I had two three month courses of zoladex two years ago with mirena in situ and didn't have any bleeds. My mirena at the time stopped my periods completely. They changed my mirena Feb 2020 during my most recent lap and I have had 2+ week bleeding every month

How do you manage your side effects and weight on zoladex?
Hi ladies, My endo consultant is putting me on zoladex until my next lap. I've looked up the side effects and it's seems like a mix of severe PMS plus menopause. How lovely. So I already have really bad PMS and I'm worried if things will get worse. I don't want to be crying everyday for no reason. I'm

First period after Zoladex
Hello all :). I have been on Zoladex for 9 months and stopped it as I had too many side effects. My next injection was due on Friday and since I have not had it my belly pain started already. I was wondering how long it took for you for your period and pain come back after stopping Zoladex. Thank

Zoladex increase in PSA
After being on Bicalutamide since May 2020 I switched to Zoladex as my PSA had increased from 0.9 to 3.8 in April. I expected my PSA to drop below the 3.8 but my result this week came out at 6.9. Testosterone over the last month has dropped from 19.3 to 0.7. My Pet Scan in February reported as follows

7 months on! Fallen out with my Drs! Told them to F off!
So I’ve been tormented for 7 months now! I now weigh 6st 3, and probably falling.... I walked into A & E last night, because I couldn’t take anymore! My pain was horrendous and I felt like I just wanted to throw up all over the place! It’s impossible to know if I have an infection or not on Zoladex,

When you get fed up and email Mr Bojo Johnson 🤣
Mr Johnson, I’m writing this email in sheer disgust with our NHS and it’s massive failings, that will no doubt, impact the rest of my life! You see, I have a severe chronic disease called Endometriosis, which left me on 3 monthly follow-ups for the last 4-5 years, with absolutely no point whatsoever

Xofigo starting soon
Good morning everyone What has been your experiences with Xofigo. I’m currently taking Xtandi and Zoladex will add 6 treatments of Xofigo starting this week. I appreciate your thoughts. I only have Mets in the bones, but a lot of them. PSA has remained around the .4 to .5 range for the last 6 months
