Psa rising with chemo

Hii. My dad was diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer in may 18 with gleason score 9 and psa 88

He was on zoladex for 9 month with psa dropped from 88 to 2 and start to climb again until 8

Psma shows stable disease

He added xtandi

Worked pretty good for year and half

Them psa started to rise again

Psma showed new bone mets with severe bone pain then he started taxotere and psa started to jump from 18 to 34 stable for three cycles them after ending 6 cycles it is now 51

Mo waiting for new psmaa and he is welling to give him break as he is now asymptomatic no pain ...he wants him to continue only on zoladex and xgeva and follow up

Where is he located? Can he get Xofigo? Provenge? Lu-177-PSMA-617? He can try Zytiga. It usually doesn't work for long after Xtandi fails, but sometimes chemo can resensitize the cancer to it. After that, Jevtana.

Good idea to biopsy a new bone met to see if any of the tailored therapies might work for him.
